I think Wax could have been awesome if they continued with its development.

As it is, there's still stuff you can do with it like green screen and PIP. The text effects and transitions are pretty bland, though.

It is more user friendly than VirtualDub. If the program doesn't crash on you, you can get a bit more creative with Wax than you can with WMM.

And also, you should never contact the support team if you have used one.

Very nice, suggest BS software that you don't even use. It froze my computer every time I opened it. I had to hard reset then to protect my computer I had to restart it properly. I tried it three times and it froze my system each time.

Free software is good in theory but in action it blows. There is no one to contact other than a forum to get support. I don't know about you but I want to get an immediate response to my issues I don't want to wait for a forum reply that may never come.

To be honest i think this was much worse than movie maker... 1. for some reason i couldn't see what i was doing because it didn't show any pictures on the screen. 2. it was much harder to understand how to edit with it. so i'll think i have to stick with movie maker until i find somenthing else :(

Moviemaker has multiple formats that MOST people in the 20th century will use. Not many current HD cameras record in AVI files anymore. nor do people have time to render their 1gig AVCHD 720/1080p files to AVI, just to use this program.
