@SilverbackRacing the blower is 6k same cost as having a pro built motor...the hp is bulletproof since its n/a. anytime you add a turbo or supercharger your going to have issues with temp and detination. your tuning the bike under ideal conditions- humidity, temp, gas etc...when one of those factors changes (as they do in the real world) your going to get detination, lean conditions etc.
@9secondsflat Normally aspirated does not mean bulletproof horsepower. I don't know what 'detination' is but detonation, an engine condition that results from improper squish, high cylinder pressures or improper ignition timing is not unique to supercharged engines. 'Lean conditions' are caused by improper tuning. A properly tuned fuel injection system will compensate for changes in atmospheric conditions.
@RocketMan1070 yeah...and how many Walleys do you have???? they have set dozens of records people like Matt Mladin, Aaron Yates, Eric Bostrom, Miguel Duhamel all have had him build their teams engines....
@RocketMan1070 His Rocket 3 is now making 285 rwhp on pump gas drive in drop off the bike come back in one month pick the bike up...all motor its a shame you need a blower and still cant even produce what he does on motor..."but he doesnt tune bikes" your a moron.
@9secondsflat Numbers are one thing, but it's the curve of those numbers that tell the tale. It's hard to beat the immediate surge a blower gives you. A way to turn it off when you aren't leaning on it would be the icing on the cake. Toyota used a clutch like an air-conditioner on a car with a intake bypass for normal aspiration when off boost. For most people's riding style a huge punch in the low to mid's is more satisfying then having to ream it upstairs, when yer my age anyway. :O)
That's awesome, but they should, as turbo 'busas are over that with less displacement. Technology changes, the spelling of 'detonation' does not...

Now TTS Rocket3 makes 400HP with blower, suck on that a while mr. "detination" :-0

Carpenter racing offers a drive in drive out 245-250 rwhp/195 ft/lbs tq engine for $5900...a much better solution than a blower

@9secondsflat much better? how? quite a bit more money, and not much more Hp.

@9secondsflat Carpenter Racing is so full of bullshit. They don't know ANYTHING about supercharged engines and they don't tune bikes.
