I want to have one born in summer, and another born in fall.

But I don't know exactly how long it'll take from the day your spouse asks if you want children to the date of the younger child being born.

Simply put, should I have the older or younger child born in summer to have the other in fall?

You can give them gifts they like (Google Ushi No Tane or Ranchstory, both websites have a bigger list of what everyone likes). There's also this thing you can do where you connect a second Wiimote, point it at the screen and rub on the people, increasing their affection a bit. You can also go to festivals with the marraige candidates (by asking them the day before the event) That's really all you can do, it DOES take a while to get people's hearts up.

I'm not sure exactly how the second-child thing works, I married the Wizard and, after my first kid was "grown up", he asked me a few days later if I wanted a second kid.

I don't think you can get divorced but I know that, after you're married, if your spouse is a at 12 hearts, you have a fight with them.

I'm not sure what you mean by "who did you pick to become friends with"....

It does take an ridiculous amount of time, but you'll get there eventually.

@bellacrazy2008 in this harvest moon game, you are able to have two kids. The older one will either be the long haired girl, or the straight haired boy. The younger picks are the short haired girl, and the spiky haired boy. you can choose whatever genders you want.

@bellacrazy2008 if you mean the requirements to have kids, then you need a level 3 house, and 14 hearts on your spouse. if you married witch or wizard, you need 15, and the harvest king and goddess need 16. then you'll get a cutscene asking what gender you want. in order to have the second child, your first kid must be grown up (2 months), and then you will get another cutscene, and its the same from there
