I watched all her x-factor clips and can definitely see that she's come into her own. I think she has a very unique-sounding voice....kind of like a blend of Nina Simone and Macy Gray but with an appealing tone. Never mind that she's drop-dead gorgeous and seems very humble and sweet.

I bought her album in the HMV sale for seven quid; I like it in small doses but all ten tracks sound just the same to me, so I play two at a time and then go back to it later. If you play all ten in a row they just merge in to each other as identical sounding.

Most of the time the No. 1 single is some modern trash that is compressed beyond belief. It is looking like this will go in to the BBC charts at no.5 or 4 if supermarket sales hold up. Not too bad for a debut artist. Matt went in at no.2 as did One D. Cher went in at no.4 and Becca will too. Top five for all of them. Single went in at no.10 but then immediately fell to no.30 which was a shame. She hasn't had that much exposure really overall. More focus on One D.
