Change the fork out on your mountain bike to a fox and same with the rear shock. Also get hydraulic brakes fitted on your mountain bike. Mechanical brakes only come on entry level bikes these days

I like your saddle bags & how they fold up into one neat little package, wish mine did that, but mine are still prety nice.

@QueenKattz I don't know either, but what I did was extensively modify the saddlebags I purchased so they seem to be working, as unlike your black Trek, my rack has the suspension rods going down to the hub of the rear wheel, so no worries about the bag getting caught in the spokes ( lol ), but that was pretty cool how you got the one bag to fit on the other rack, as I love velcro myself :)

We still have Fll left though, as I do not ride my baby in bad weather, I pamper her, lol

@kattzbear I do not mind hot weather, but GF is faired skinned & does not react well to the sun, plus our little one, have to watch how much he is exposed to the sun also.

Nice setup on the black trek, very simliar to how I have both of our bikes setup, not cheap saddle bags, or racks.

Hi Kattz! You and I we both have the same taste I like and owned many Canon camera's and also wanted a Trek Road Bike. Wow. You have good taste for bike! I wanted to have both of those bike. Beautiful bikes you got there. The ZR9000 is more of what I want (speed). You say it weight 15 lbs.? That is light. I have a 1980 Free Spirit and this thing weight in at 30lbs. For someone as small as me (5'3" and 108lbs.) this bike is heavy!

Lucky you, living in Vancouver...I lived there for 1 year once. I now live in Toronto. Wow, amazing bikes!!

Wow, that is pretty hot for Canada! Climate change perhaps? Here on Long Island it rarely gets that hot, but, the humidity here is terrible. Its been very humid this summer, very tropical, dew points in the 70s. The cold fronts always wind up stalling before they make it here. I would imagine they have beautiful mountain bike trails up there.

Canada is huge as a matter of fact it is larger than the USA. So the weather and the terrain changes from North to South and East to West ;)

In Vancouver we have the best of everything and Mountain biking is key for me. If you get the chance to visit in the summer you should try esp with your exchange on the dollar ;)

Fortunately Long Island has alot of nice trails. I love the pine barrens. Do they have pines up in Canada too?

That would be a lovely place to cycle ;) We have wonderful old growth forests and Whistler is a great place to bike. The New Jersey Pine Barrens are beautiful and you are lucky to have places like that to cycle through ;)

Actually the Pine Barrens I go to is on Long Island,NY. It is very much like NJ's Pine Barrens but smaller.

Please watch my hiking videos though because there's alot of great scenery there. It'd be cool if you could do a video of the trails there, I'd love that!
