  • dumb germans, glad he's dead :P

  • Somebody make a movie about this Legend right now!!!!

  • It`s not unusual, He was German, the best.

  • This song is Trough the Storm by Dax Johnson

  • is this il2 1946?

  • @Schiggyfan28 yes, yes it is

  • Sieg Heil

  • Il 2 with Ultramod 3.0 Rc4 is best WW2 flight simulator EVER

  • F^&% Nintento play..Get a f^&% life... Good grief what children...

  • Nice vido by: finnishdude

  • i think the dogfighter is over .

  • то, что летает в этом ролике - лошара, а не Хартманн.

  • erich was a great fighter pilot ,,, but ,, if the best american fighter pilot got all that experience shooting down inferior polish and russian planes ,, he probably would have had 300 some odd kills as well

  • @heettreet And if my auntie had balls she´d be my uncle. American idiot.

  • German pilots were the best fighter pilots of all time

  • @igorelhutin They sure were. Top 109 WW2 aces were all Germans. They were just hopelessly outnumbered, that´s all.

  • @stickitupyapipe yes !!! i am !!! the german aces are the better of the all times ☺

  • Unlimited ammo fail

  • Excellent flying...I noticed you use the vertical instead of turning in the horizontal like most amateur "pilots"

  • also ich wiege 300 kilo

  • I have often thought about the German pilots in '45 flying 109G6 or the pilots in '18 flying Alb D-V's, knowing in each case they were flying a plane that was well-past it's best-before date, and still being game to take on the Allies.

When Harper Lee was interviewed after writing "To Kill a Mockingbird" she said the definition of courage is someone who knows from the get-go they are probably licked, and still fights.

  • do you play with joystick?

  • hehe bin student und hab bald mehr kröten als meine eltern

  • the only reason i like the germans is because of hartmann

  • I have no problem with this man fulfilling his mission as a member of his country's armed forces and I would not consider him a Nazi. I do have a question regarding his "kills". I have read that German pilots counted aircraft destroyed on the ground in their totals. Does anyone know if that is true? Rey in Ohio, USA

  • @cplrey I'm not entirely sure, but I do know that the Luftwaffe was extremely strict about claiming victories. They usually required a victory report for each aircraft downed, as well as a full combat report. You also needed at least one witness..

  • @cplrey Yes, that is true.Aircraft destroyed on the ground counts as a "kill"Standard Luftwaffe practice not followed by US or Britian, not sure about Russia

  • @cplrey Yes, that is true.Aircraft destroyed on the ground counts as a "kill"Standard Luftwaffe practice not followed by US or Britian, not sure about Russia

  • ever noticed how much erich hartmann sounds like eric cartman think about it.

  • @jef934

Only if you pronounce Erich Hartmann with an English accent.

  • so this is the red baron of ww2.huh. ...nice.

  • @angelofwaranddeath No... The red Baron was noble

  • All the materials possible were shipped to Stalin after 1938, and then especially after 1939, and the USSR's invasion of little Finland.

FDR and his cabal were really nice people, in hell.

  • this is NOT hartmann style of flying

  • To those who think Hitler a hero: Evil is spelled H-I-T-L-E-R

  • @Tildrina dont speak pointless, and learn to speak as normal human not as tard

  • I know a guy who made sweet love to him during the war.... hartmann hit him with a huge facial.....OOOOOHHHH!!!!

  • im turca but ı love you Erich Hartmann

  • how many of his own buddy pilots did he not defend ,while rolling up the score ,,we will never know

  • @heettreet

He was shot down many times (14) but his greatest pride was that he never lost a wing-man. He will remain forever as the greatest fighter pilot of all times.

  • @boxfish76 thank you for the info ,, i must be thinking of another pilot ,,,,,, then he truly is the greatest fighter pilot that ever lived ,,,, germans have good eyesight ,, ,,, come to think of it ,, i must have thought of a ww1 fighter pilot ..who picked his spots and cowered from any real engagements ,,,,, thanks again

  • Nazi Germany happened for reasons both complex & often misunderstood.

Hitler's propaganda machine was very successful in brainwashing Europeans of many nationalities, not just Germans, and after Hitler's SS & Gestapo took away all the civilian's firearms it did not matter how disgusted & horrified the population was: it was them with NO guns against one of the most well equipped armies & secret police the world has ever known...

The 2nd Amendment is the one that protects all others!

  • the first book i read about ww2 was called ( Erik Hartmann, the blonde knight of Germany ) , this was way back in 1973 i think

  • Well is this demoCRAZINESS anybetter? everyone for himself? Stealing poorlydefended countries oils and opiums?? OPEN UR EYES!!! I think if axis had won world would be betterplace.. couldnt be worse atleast...

  • @88Phobos A world in which your soap would be made of Jewish fat? Puhleeeease!

  • а этот ролик вставлен в базовый набор роликов Ил-2 штурмовик. но музыкальное сопровождение хорошее

  • Somebody please the Musuc!

  • wrong skin or the plane

  • He left without to take over the responsibility for his monstrous crimes. 80 Million Germans had to stay in a heap of ruins.

    As I said - a coward!

  • @RavenIzolaaj237 Kannst du mal mit deiner scheiße da aufhören wenn du kohle willst geh arbeiten.

  • What a bunch of A-hole comments...he was and is, the consummate fighter pliot of all times...he was a warrio. how else could you score 352 kills? But he was a genuine human being with a love of life....loved his family and country...the same that we did during that time...he was the master of his craft...he also was shot down 5 times...he loved to fly, he gave his all....God bless your Erich and your family.....God bless the TRUE WARRIOR"

  • @nutz4all A-hole comments? Did you even read what I wrote. Some guy is trying to compare WW2 fighters with modern jets! Your statement is nearly correct apart from that he didn't get shot down. Ever! Debris from other aircraft usually crippled his plane. He had to 'force land' 14 times. Hartmann was a real hero and was a great person to talk to. So I've heard. I would have loved to have met him!

  • is this wings of prey 2?

  • this guy is a total badass i agree but I prefer Heinz Ulrich-Rudel.........google him and find out

  • Hail for Hartmann!!!!!

  • Hartmann was the greatest......he got shot down like 10 times and survived...crazy

  • @turban45 he never got shot down, he only landed 14 time because of mechanics problems

  • @turban45 Hahaha, I love your comment, it's like stories round a camp fire. That kind of talk gives a person legendary status! =) lol Unfortunately, it's not true sir. He never got shot down once! He had to make 'forced landings' 14times due to shrapnell flying off enemy planes or engine problems. =D

  • Grandfather of Michael Schumacher

  • Drück 2x Strg+1 dann hast du ein besseres Fadenkreuz.

Und Erich Hartmann war ein Held!!

  • Erich Hartmann was an ace........and i play games mimicking the gist of what he was doing. ya.. not that great.

  • Finnish people made this

  • all his record must be / 7

  • The 109 was one of the best flying machines ever built. But you need the right man to fly it or any fighter. A poor quality pilot even in the best fighter will not win the day.

This man was the best in the game any where, and that is a fact

  • IL2 is not the best WW2 simulator.

But its 1 of the best.

  • @ZLIgari whats the bestest in your opinon?

  • @DuckingNDiving

Well, i cant tell you from real point of view, cause iam playing the Aces High online..and its the best simulator (IMO), MMO type of game (400 - 500 players online in latehours). So, i can tell you that Aces High is the best..

But, i am sure, if UBISOFT somehow make IL2 to be MMO game, it could be unbeatible.

IL2 is rly nice ww2 COMBAT simulator and with mods is more than that. For full experience use joystick! :)

IL2 1946 is better than Wings/Birds Of Prey, thats for sure!

  • @ZLIgari yeah and i want to play aces high 2 and i need a credit card -_- any other ways to pay for it? i would seriously sell my xbox and all 30 of the games to play it... half of them being gay WW2 fliers trying to find a game "like" aces high but i cant go in cockpit and nobody plays online and its not MMO so please if anyone has any ideas please tell me. Or tell me if IL2 is good enough to buy and which one i should get :D thanks :D

  • a brave man,who fought inferiour aircraft, but still brave!! how many of you people are VETS of war!!? i fucking am!! and it always hard to kill!!

  • What ever game your playing your not using Hartmann's Aifcraft skin.

  • There is nowhere the Skin from Erich Hartmann.

  • i think he is son the red baron

  • Crappy song ,it caused me a headache!!!!

  • The way how you shot this reminds me of Ulrich Rudel's style (I think that's the name, or it's someone else) Doing split esses and such.

  • This what you doing is not Erich Hartman's tactic.

  • Could you imagine the pilots shocking her heads against the window in in this minimous me109 cabin? To short... To Light.... No good protection to the pilot... Just use this plane, only this, was a mark of a hero... In anything side of war you stayed... A question of peace: "there are a right side in a war?"

  • he is the father of my grandfather..

  • 352 machines shot down. That's at ;east 352 boys who but for Hitler could have been going to high school dances. Instead, Hartmann incinerated them. He was no hero.

  • @mmcceng77 - Major Richard Bong USAAF, shot down 40 Japanese planes. Does your statement include him, too? Both pilots had a job to do; total war is just that - total. And if the first plane Herr Hartmann faced had shot him down, would you say that about the Soviet pilot and Stalin? War isn't pretty or enviable. Unfortunately, the human race never seems to learn that elections have consequences.

  • @mmcceng77 Read red Barons biography and try to understand that it had different times and different people kill or to be killed. if hero is someone who surrender rather than does fight.. then mahatma gandhi is war criminal.. he used his mind as weapon.

  • @PsD14JR Comparison is not reason . Ghandy was a tru hero , He put his life in balance for his people's freedom . Erich Hartman was a true hero as well , puting his life at hazard for the fight of his people .

They didn't do it the same way , but the same fidelity to an idea , at life risk was the gamble .

Respect is a due ,to so seldom kind of men ..

  • @mmcceng77 A more stupid comment should deserve an award .

  • すばらしい!

  • Um GRANDE AS da AVIAÇÃO.

Que esteja "Caçando" onde quer que esteja!

  • Didn't know this guy had died. A legend!

  • Arranged by an american comrad (don't wonder), I visited 1979 this great pilot at his home in southern germany. Some guys from the US industry were also there to prepare some public relations for the F-16. I was impressed from this man - he was a real heroe. He had water in his eyes speaking about the enemy warriors he had to fight. Don't reduce the discussion on the "Nazi-level". They all where soldiers - the asshole Hitler was a coward!

  • @Abteilix Your a true fool for that statement just because you dont believe in his beliefs dont state that hitler was a coward when he volunteered for ww1, wasnt drafted, Besides two Iron Crosses!!!, Hitler was awarded the Bavarian Military Medal 3rd class with bar, and later received, as did all wounded soldiers, the Cross of Military Merit. He was wounded at least twice! idiot he was a hero in WW1 not a coward!!

  • @Abteilix Adolf Hitler - Bad man, yes. Coward?? No. He served for 4 years in World War I. When he was wounded in the upper leg by an artillery shell in the Somme, he demanded to be sent back to the battlefield. Same as for when he was gassed. He was no coward, I assure you. One of the worst men to ever live on Earth? Yes. Coward? Not close.

  • @Abteilix Yes, Americans are the best, because if your not an elite power, Hitler would still rule here. Except that, the Russians were attacked and thanks to Stalin, counter-attack came to the last street in Berlin. And America had to settle for the remnants of the Nazi army. That's true.

  • @Abteilix

Just what WERE they fighting for then, if not for "a coward"...? As for "the soldiers" , what about those who guarded the "coward's" concentration camps...? What about those who tortured and/or killed German, and non-German civilians, alike, as ordered by the "coward", and his henchmen...? How is it that millions of men, women, and children perished so violently, and no one living at that time in Germany...saw a damn thing...?

  • @deetjay1 Does the concept of the word "fear" mean anything to you? Look up the Gestapo, then come back and make that argument again.

  • @IrcRyshan

Did they form from out of a vacuum, friend? Were they NOT given their power by the people of Germany? So all that murder, and torture was OK because "they" were "afraid" to say anything, even remotely critical of the Gestapo, or National Socialism, in general? Your argument is specious, at best...Fear is NOT a reason to IGNORE, and thus condone MASS genocide.

  • @deetjay1 So you're telling me that you have the balls to confront a man wielding a gun like it's second nature who will kill you and then kidnap your entire family? Never mind the fact that you're dead, but the people you love are going to be horribly murdered? The fact is people did speak out, they did not LIVE to tell. You are a buffoon thinking of the surface facts. You judge the German people far too quickly. Think before you speak.

  • @IrcRyshan

Me? Judge? Nuremberg, 1946-1949? Yes...The post-war West and East German governing bodies, yes...The "court of public-opinion? Naturally...I confronted many "a man welding a gun", when I was in the military. Yeah...I had a gun too, unlike so many MILLIONS of victims of the Third Reich. You're getting a tad defensive here I think...Time to chill this conversation as well...Have a nice day....

  • @deetjay1 I think that people like Hitler had a talent for not only being evil but for making others evil. I believe that many German civilians never saw these atrocities, and some were completely brain washed, but also that some suspected what was going on and then made the decision to deceive themselves, to believe otherwise even though they knew that they were being lied to. Sometimes the overwhelming power of social institutions can overwhelm people's basic sense of right and wrong.

  • @mongorians22

I once heard a popular comedian remark that Al Gore should not be compared to Hitler. The reason? Hitler had "charisma"...Yeah...I laughed...because it was ALL TOO TRUE...Millions of Germans were mesmerized by this monster...A very few saw the insanity, and still...did nothing...Germans, rightly see this as the most shameful period in their country's history...

  • @Abteilix Hitler was no coward. Maybe you dont like him, but give credit where its due. Any man who got the Iron cross first class(Especially an enlisted man)had to have done something over and above. He also served the entire war as dispatch messenger which was a very dangerous job. I think that most people who met him liked him. He was a mans man.

  • @whiteman866 a man doesn't commit suicide when he is losing a man goes down fighting taking as many as he can with him so Hitler was a coward since cowered kill them self's

  • @Abteilix Even if different things are told about Hitler (Reports show that he was sown as the bravest soldier of WW1, although he only was a "news-guy" that traveled several miles off of the front

  • @Abteilix Hartmann was the great solder, it is fantastic. But what is the absolutely fantastic - is that he had 352 wins, being 20-23 years old. Young boy, the great warrior. I am not able to imagine this type of personality. I have never met persons like Hartmann.

But .. Hartmann and many and many others real great german solders DONT EXIST without Hitler. Hitler gave them all chance to show who they really are. Without him no youtube video as minimum.

  • if germany didnt have such dumbass leaders wed be speaking german right about now

  • @andrewknight2 thank goodness they did have dumbass leadership though.

  • @attananightshadow true that haha

  • @attananightshadow

Göring was a morphine addict. Hitler was an imcompetent commander.

  • @andrewknight2

Actually that is false. Hitler wanted World Domination, but his goals were to take Europe. But Logic dictates that Germany could never take North America, despite the fact that they did invade Newfoundland on occasions as shown in recent proof when they found many German submarine bases along the inlets and fjords of Labrador but I digress. The only way Germany could take north america would be with Overwhelming numbers and a sea invasion, neither of which were remotely possible

  • I read his autobiography "The Blonde Knight of Germany". His kill total was much higher. Toward the end of the war he stopped counting his kills because of dissollusionment with the war. Also several of his logbooks were lost.

  • cunt smasher

  • yea chuck norris has nothing on this guy

rambo wishes he had his autograph

  • I urge Germans to be proud of Erich Hartmann - a fighter ace.

  • I liked the video but Erich Hartmann was known for only shooting from less then 100m and often damaged his own plane. He would rarely dogfight, instead he would ambush and dive on them, usually the other guy didn't even know he was there.

    But good job!

  • @CrankEmpire That's right.

  • IL2 <3

  • sieg heil!

  • Or american, then we all understand your problem.

  • ChallengerGuy22 ... I guess you are a small kid ... it's Ok..

  • Are you bustard!!

  • The German Pilots are the Bravest Fighters in the II. WW but fortunately Hitler out of control and lost the war.

  • @hessms Гитлер хуй сосал вместе с твоими германскими пилотами пидарасами. И ты сам хуесос и пидор конченый. Тварюга ебаная. Твоя мать проститутка а отец гамадрил!

  • Just like the 90' when we all believed that F14/15/16/Mirage etc. was good planes. Then some russians showed the "cobra" and other stuff with a MIG-29.

Some NATO pilots stated that it probably was good that they never was into a fight with those guys.

When the allied forces desperately developed planes to match the me109 and fw190, the germans was decades in front, they tried to finish the me-262.

Luckily they did not have resources to make the plane fully operational efficient. ...Too late.

  • @a61971 lol the cobra what a joke

  • @a61971 lol the cobra what a joke

  • --- I will try to find the link I mentioned. Give me time ((c;

  • ssmusic214. Just spend an hour on other sources than you normally do. Renember the winners write the history book. The surviving germans don't brag about the war, they are embassered about it. Most of them fought bravely and did not know about the awfull stuff beeing done elsewere.

I recently found a link here. It's a video about an american that owns both a P-51 and a ME109. He tells a interesting story about the planes.

  • People who don't have the guts to fight for their country or even what they believe in belittle people who do. I have more respect for a terroist than a cowardly armchair patriot.

  • Will you children please fuck off with your garbage? Go play in a schoolyard someplace.

  • wasnt he just the best pilot of all time R.I.P . Hartmann

  • The german fighters had a 7:1 winning ratio against the western fighters. The german pilots did not consider the american planes as a strong opponent.

When the american forces finally entered the war, the german army had already lost to the russian army. Renember that 80% of the german army was at the eastern front.

Most german aces and experts fought and lost to the russian army.

The surviving german aces talks about excelent russian YAK fighers (later ones) and pilots. P-51's is named smiling.

  • @a61971 And where did you got all those figures and tales? Any references?

  • The german fighters was at the end outnumbered a 100:1. Read the stories. In some areas 2-3 109's had to fight 500-1000 allied planes. Young poorly trained pilots in poorly maintained planes, running on bad fuel. It it from that period the american "aces" talk about their great "achiements".

The surviving german aces still says, that they any day would pick the 109 for a dog fight. The russian YAK (later models) was the most feared opponent.

It's just the winners that write the books.

  • Real world, he ran into more "Cementers" (Stormoviks) than anything...

Sawed their wings off... too much armor everywhere else

An Emil, Fredrick or Gustav would have eaten any P-40 he ran into...

A few women in Muscas were damn good..not pushovers.... using it's superbe manouverability to the max.

You gamers don't knoew schiess from apfelbutter....

  • He's not just an ace..... He's a 35x ace!!!

  • @coombs002 ..There is a reason for this....German pilots weren't rotated home after a certain number of missions as American pilots were, they fought continuously until they were killed or the war ended, allowing them to rack up huge numbers of allied planes downed.

  • @SpeedyNeutrino43 yes and he may have exaggerated quite a bit too.

  • The few surviving german aces told they would never pick another plane for a fight.

Renember that that the 109 had a winning ratio of 7:1 against allied fighters.

German pilots did not think of the P-51 as a good plane.

But the winners write the history books ....

The strongest competitor was the russian Yak fighters (according to german pilots).

  • dear grandpa *G*?!?

  • just for the record: bf 109 wasnt outclassed at all

it was able to perform great maneuvers whereas the mustang's engine ran out of gas while performing a looping^^

  • @AdlerDesOstens ....Wrong, you're thinking of the obsolete Brewster Buffalo which would starve for fuel in a loop. The 109 was even outclassed by the FW-190 AND the P-51. Against the P-47 it had a terrible kill to loss ratio. The Mustang carried the fuel to fly all the way to Berlin and back, escorting the bombers which gave it a great advantage. By the invasion of Normandy the luftwaffe had been shot from the sky and could mount NO defense.

  • what was the name of the death metal song that was on here b4 this 1

  • I see...a duped allied fanboi who has followed the hype. And now he wants to get snippy and act tough on the internet. What a surprise.

The simple facts are - 1, it's the man, not the machine, 2, people with real knowledge don't make claims like "the 109 was outclassed" - PERIOD, 3, it was getting kills all the way to the end, even with a drastic reduction in pilot quality, 4, you can't compare an interceptor with an escort in that way (again, something someone with real knowledge would know)

  • @usquanigo

Took me awhile to find the conversation, hear hear! Couldn't agree more.

  • @usquanigo all these Nazi eat shit and suck dick and the USAAF crushed and destroyed luftwaffte faggots!

  • @LottoWinner999 Sorry that you're so lonley and miserable. I know this time of year has to be especially hard when nobody wants to be near you.

  • @usquanigo agreed, a true ace would know how to shoot down a modern jet fighter with a ww2 plane :)

  • @doncabron23 Before I comment further, perhaps you'd care to elaborate a little further on this statement please....

  • @LeiKaEr a machine is a machine, it can be an easy kill or it can be a terror of the skys depending on how skilled the pilot is

  • @doncabron23 Sorry, no. Skill has nothing to do with shooting down a modern jet with a WW2. Lets take Hartmann in his 109 and a USAAF F15 pilot. Are you honestly going to tell me that he would stand a chance? Your trying to compare aircraft of truly different era's the 'generation gap' between piston, propeller driven aircraft and afterburning, jet engined planes? Thats like trying to compare a bow and arrow to the modern gun!

  • @doncabron23 …Basically your saying that a 400mph plane, with cannons/machine guns is going to take out a mach 2+ plane.... Sure! Lets do the numbers shall we: Speed - F15 over 3 times faster. / Service Ceiling - 25000ft higher. / Armament: AIM missiles capable of BVR kills. Lets not forget that the F15 can also attack in any weather conditions. Need I go on… There is no comparison here as there isn't one! There are a good few instances and examples of this on History Channels ‘dogfights’...

  • @LeiKaEr aint u quite the expert on aircraft, no shit, but it is possible to take out a fighter jet with an old school ww2 plane lol

  • @doncabron23 Expert has nothing to do with it, just logic. Hypothetically, if you can get a modern jet to slow down enough, then yes, it is possible...

  • @doncabron23 Look for the Crusader battling the Mig17. That was a more even match than the one your trying to compare... All the Crusader had to do was hit afterburners and fly away. Please STOP trying to compare aircraft of completely different eras! Oh and a machine is not a machine. thats like saying a toaster is a computer. Ace or not, it will not save you if your aircraft has the superior edge!

  • @doncabron23 are you joking?

  • @usquanigo I believe that it is the man AND the machine, put together, the right person in the right machine can make all the difference needed. It Erich Hartmann had flewn maybe a BF110 or a FockerWolf he might not have been known for his 'ace dog-fighting' skills.

He flew a Bf109, and he knew how to use it well, no wonder he was good. But I bet he knew a thing or two about the enemy aircraft as well, since that does huge difference too, knowing the enemys aircraft.

    CHUCK NORRIS IN THE AIR!!!

  • mustang ,,,6× 0.50 caliber (12.7mm) M2 Browning machine guns with 1,880 total rounds (400 rounds for each on the inner pair, and 270 rounds for each of the outer two pair)

2× hardpoints for up to 2,000 lb (907 kg) of bombs

10× 5.0 in (127 mm) rockets ,,, tell me who has the better guns and arms ,,, w2ould you like to compare flying ? here ill do it for you

  • @SSimonn82 No he was just that good

  • This movie is very nice!!!!

  • 352 kills.....some pilots got 20 mabey 5 , 10? 352!?!@?!? unheard of idc what side hes on thats skill...the chuck norris of the air

  • @popsnacks2 at the time the 109 was the plane earley in the war it was the best until the allies made some monsters of their own ,,, as well the 109 had the longest sevrice record it was used in spain before ww2 and by the last ones had a 1000 veriants to the original ,, but it was out classed in every way by the mustang and the spit fire

  • @lesterclaypool1 It was not "outclassed in every way", that is allied propaganda. That is NOT to say that the mustang and Spit didn't have advantages, they certainly did, but the 109 was still more than a match in the right hands. Trouble is, by that point, there were only wrong hands left (it would be the same result if you swapped planes)

  • @usquanigo ok then lets compare bf 109Guns:

2 × 13 mm (.51 in) MG 131 machine guns with 300 rounds per gun

    1 × 20 mm MG 151/20 cannon as Motorkanone with 200 rpg. G-6/U4 variant: 1 × 30 mm (1.18 in) MK 108 cannon as Motorkanone with 65 rpg

2 × 20 mm MG 151/20 underwing cannon pods with 135 rpg (optional kit - Rüstsatz VI)

    Rockets: 2 × 21 cm (8 in) Wfr. Gr. 21 rockets (G-6 with BR21)

    Bombs: 1 × 250 kg (551 lb) bomb or 4 × 50 kg (110 lb) bombs or 1 × 300 litres (79 USgal)
