I think some ppl don't wanna change their status because they don't want ppl in their business, which I understand. But then again might as well let em know.
I WOULD LIKE KNOW THAT ARE YOU GUYS FRIENDS I KNOW YOU WORK TOGETHER BUT AR YOU GUYS FRIENDS AND WERE YOU GUYS FRIENDS BEFORE YOU ALL PLEDGED ? AND DO YALL TALK TO EACH OTHER AT GATHERING WHEN THE BOTH SORORITY S ARE PRESENT?
this video was deff for me, i just had problems with this the other day with my boy friend. I think the "in a relationship" SHOULD be stated on facebook..period!
1:57 Yes ma'am. I caught a guy like that. Said he was single, checked out his Facebook and it said otherwise. He said it wuz an old pic og him and his old gf andhe had not changed relationship status yet. Either he wuz stupid enuff to leave the pic up or stupid enuff to believe I'd believe that lame sh&t. Either way he wuz cancelled. Keep it going ladiez. ZZZ-PHI.
0:56 I totally agree..! i don't play the whole in a relationship thing on facebook..if you do that obviously means that the relationship means somthing to you...2:35 exaclty they left you the option to assume because they were not being honest with you so you do have the right to "not neccessarily act a fool" but you can question them because the boundries were not established
lol sierra was cracking me up, have u guys seen the video "how facebook is ruining relationships" its jokes , i think u should put up ur relationship.I know someone who broke up with his gf and all his friends were like "aww u guys arent 2 gether, what happened, wasn't good enuf" ( mind u a few months ago it came out that he was cheating on her)and he was like " no its not like that (plus they were still friends on his fb)
But updating ure relationship status could also be very embarrassing esp. if u've been dating (long term or short term) & it were to terminate, & all of a sudden ure tryin to deal w/ the emotional loss & being interrogated by your friends as to what happened, etc.. I've seen friends who changed their status & added pics with their dude and then when it concludes, they look like bobo the fool in the end.. :/ I use FB a lot, "I know Sierra lol" but personal matters should sometimes stay personal..
I hate when people jump straight from single to married in their status after only dating for a few weeks and then they gradually go down a step from married to in a relationship to its complicated back to single within that few week span lmao
But even if you make your status clear there are some females out there that don't give a f*ck!!! (excuse my language) The dude can have tons of pictures, actual status' about him and his girl and the "thirsty" ones still pursue.
my prob w/ fb relationships is when you're in&out of a relationship & its in my newsfeed everyweek. i have two friends who literally have been together & broken up 14 times. smh. & i agree w/ the whole "facebook official" thing. thats bogus. but i also agree that if you've been together for a while then ppl should know ... "it's complicated" as a REAL status & not btwn friends is dumb. #letsbereal.
i think that if ur secure in ur relationship, you dont need to "validate" on the world wide web.
this is really cool topic and i like you guys channel especially for the college age crowd but yeah I been "married" to my best friend probably since I joined facebook years ago so yeah it dont really matter to me and both me and my best friend are actually married (to seperate people lol) in real life. My husband isn't on facebook so he really doesnt care (he thinks he's too cool for online social sites) but her husband just joined and I know he probably will bring it up if he already hasn't
I'm a private person on and off the internet and I don't have my relationship status listed. Mostly because I don't feel it's anyone's business but also because I never want to have to change from single to in a relationship to back to single or it's complicated or divorced or widowed. It's so depressing.
What a good topic. Lol. I keep my FB pretty bland so most people don't know much about me. But if my SO had his status known that he was in a relationship linked to my name, then I would put mine up and link it to him. And yes, I hate the It's Complicated status. Do we really need to know or care? Hahaha.
I agree that facebook does change relationships. That is why i try to not to bring it up in my relationships. It causes to much unnecessary drama. Also I think it depends on the person. Some people just don't take status seriously.
