i don't think anything could honestly be brought against him either, i mean ppl say there are wiretapes... and sure we can SEE the transcripts but that is totally different from HEARING them. we havn't heard them to know if he really honestly said those things. and even if he did, i still don't think something could be brought against him cuz he did actually do it.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with connections maybe it has just become istitutionalized in law enforcement. Reps voted for it in the congress 98%. Clinton was wrong to sign the bill and give the reps what they wanted but it was not his bill and I'm not sure how things could have gone differently in the political climate.

Further than that Reagan had already repealed part of the Glass Steagal bill in the 80s. And it was his 'Reagan revolution' that led the way to all the deregulation. Which is the political climate Clinton had to deal with. Still I don't condone it and that's one of the reasons why Clinton is NOT 'my boy' (he was a moderate). But if you blame the repeal of Glass Steagal you blame the conservatives. So it would be wise of you to understand what you are saying.
