  • this is INCREDIBLY HARD

  • Thank you for this video! I had a massage and the masseur recommended I use this pose to strengthen my Psoas. Your video will help me to perfect my posture to get the most benefit out of the stretch.

  • I did some heavy squats yesterday and my glutes were really sore (could barely sit down). I did this move and I was groaning like a porn star! Great move for stretching a quite hard to reach bit of the body.

  • y does she hav to b labled 'old?' y cant one just say thats she's a flexible woman. and shes not old, she looks pretty young.

  • my favourite!!!

  • surprisingly difficult! I had to do the modified version, where your bending leg isn't outstretched.

  • i did this position today and it is difficult lol

  • this loks like a really good stretch I want to learn more yoga poses so I can become more flexible and also develop strength and a calmer spirit. i think it is a very effective kinf od exercise. i am to scared to try in pubic but at home I am practicing with video.

  • hmm thats awesome i didnt know those variations of that pose...i was getting aggrevated that i could never keep my knee and ankle aligned

  • Thread-the-needle is a good alternative hip opener if Pigeon is too hard.

  • why is their a walkie talkie taped to her but

  • very nice explanation. this is one of the those yoga poses that look easy until you try it. takes some time.

  • its hopeless for me... i've been stretching for splits and to increase hip flexibility for a while...if I don't push to the point of pain I get no gains at all, if I push to pain... I'm sore for a long time. No progress really, almost. I guess each person has different anatomy... now I ended up with hip pain. it's beyond me how people do these hip poses.. i guess some girls have lots of Relaxin hormone, that's what makes their hips so flexible!

  • @xanyxxx I tried it on my own and saw no progress either. Went to a yoga class where the instructor started me off with a block under the extended leg and voila, progress.

  • will this help with my sciatica?

  • @mcart451 hopefully, that´s why im gonna try it

  • I can't do this pose to save my soul
