Yo, I'm about to get an iphone and im looking for a case that'll protect most of the phone not just the back and i've watched a few of your reviews and most of the up to date ones are back only.
I've been using a switcheasy colours on my ipod touch for a year and it's done the trick but gets pretty dirty inside after a while so wanna try something else.
Don't buy into this iSkin! like i did this case sucks!...After awhile that smooth rubber feel starts to peel off around the case makin it look very old & ugly lookin...Plus it does not protect your iPhone first time it droped on me the case cracked!...Crap plastic!!!...Your better off getting a $10.00 iPhone case from the Africans if you live in NYC...Which better than the iSkin!!!...Trust me they look real nice fits perfect & looks nicer!...Never again iSkin to much money for plastic crap!!!

My biggest fear is my iphone slipping out of my pocket when I'm driving.. the revo case does well to stick to my pocket lining so it doesn't slip out. However, it does the job a little bit TOO well and it pulls my pockets inside out when I take my phone out.
How do you think the Fuze case will work in these situations?
The Fuze case will work out perfect then because its very smooth textured and will slip out of your pocket very easily. Only difference is the visor attachment that comes with the Revo doesn't come with the Fuze.
that's cool.. but will it still be prone to slipping out accidentally (esp when wearing pants with shallow pockets)?? I want a case that makes the phone not as slick, but also not as sticky as the Revo
You might want to look into the Griffin Wave then. It has a plastic back that is grippy but not like the Fuze's. It is similar in design, except that it doesn't come with a hard screen protector like the Fuze. It does come with a screen protector, but it is a thick piece of plastic that attracts finger prints and decreases screen sensitivity.
I like the revo better because of the visor screen protector. Don't know if it'll fit the revo case holster, but I would assume that they would offer a holster that works with the 3g eventually
I was talking with one of the owners of iskin at ilounge message board about the new revo2 and he says he has been using the original revo clip but it's a tight fit. They are going to make slight modifcations to the revo clip to work with the fuze, revo1 and 2.
Any set release date? And do you know of any cases/clips/holster for the iphone 3g that is made like this one with a clip? I like to carry my phone inside of my pocket but with the belt clip sticking outside of my pocket so I can easliy pull the phone outside of my pocket. It's kind of hard to explain but I believe a hard plastic or leather case with full functionality of the phone while in the case. Thanks for the quick response!
I have looked for a few cases with clips and the clips sit too low on the case so the iphone will protrude outside of my pocket too high. I was wondering what your thoughts were on the best case for the iphone 3g to just through inside my pants pocket? I was looking at the griffin Nu Form but they are kind of ugly with the two tone, or the Griffin Wave Case for iPhone 3G (Black). Contour Flick for iPhone 3G (Black)
Let me know if you have tried any of these or heard of anyone trying them. Thx
I believe the point of the case is to protect the phone. I don't really care if my $40 case gets a scratch on it. Better it then the phone. Replace a $40 case or a $500 phone? Did I really need to ask that?
If $40 is to much for you to spend on a case then they should not be buying a $500 phone. A scratch on the case doesnt impede it function or the resell value of you phone. The same scratch on the phone is a different story. $40 for this case is a good deal. a thin silicon/rubber will run you $15-$30. If you can assign a protective value to cost this is a far better deal then most cases.

I think you should consider a laether case with a belt clip

Umm...the whole point of having a case for your iPhone is so the case gets scratched instead of your iPhone.

They are releasing the iphone 3g revo tomorrow but no fuze. Which one do you prefer because these are really nice cases but very expensive.
I don't want to buy it and not like it. Does the revo silicone case work with the revo first gen phone clip?
I can't find any videos with the fuze and revo clip together!

not everyone feels the same way you do. For some, $40 is high for a case so they want it to last them a while before it starts to show wear and tear.
