  • to me the neck pickup sounds to hard, or tight. any way i can get a looser, wetter sound?

  • What is the amp?

  • Not to be too much of a annoyance, but could there be a demo of the High Output strat set?

  • sounds great

  • Hey, how can i get rid of annoying hum in my lindy fralin pickups? i have the same ones, but in 60's road worn strat and they hum and sound a little thin.. even with distortion.. is it the quality of guitar? or my amp/pedals? cause i use a blackstar ht-20 and a badmonkey (i know, neither are top of the line quality, but still)

  • Lindy, I have a Deluxe Player's Strat that I recently replaced the pick-ups with the Everything Axe set from Seymour Duncan. I am not happy and was wondering what you would suggest from your line for me to buy? I play from Van Halen to Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains. Thanks and good sounding videos

  • i think if yu used a pick..yu might be able to hear the true sound of the pickup!

  • @gittar1

check out Fralin Pickups new youtube channel for tons of new vids, including ones showing pick attack and overdriven tones. youtube[dot]com/fralinpickups

    Thanks. VW

  • @gittar1 you realize that the guitar was originally intended to be played with your fingers right?

  • @gittar1 so I suppose that Mark Knopfler doesn't have great sound, or true sound, because he plays fingerstyle on a Strat, Les Paul and every other guitar he plays?

  • @itsonlyrcknroll yes i agree, knopfler's sound is brilliant on any guitar he plays. such a unique guitarist with an awesome fingerstyle

  • what not 2 do when you unplug, with lindy fralin...lol

  • It's a tragedy that the people most invested in tone and gear can't play for crap.

  • @hendrixkixas hello ignorance. Dear HENDRIXkixas, Leo Fender, the dude that made a guitar or something, never played guitar. I don't think your buddy Hendrix is complaining. Some people are just gifted when it comes to this.

  • @hendrixkixas

If they played too well, they probably wouldn't stop playing long enough to make great guitars and pickups, so the rest of us would be screwed. ; )

  • Do the blues pickups give bottom end? I have a 1960 strat, rosewood fretboard fitted with very underwound pups - the sound is bright and hardly any bottom end - I'm hoping the Fralin Blues pups will give it some bottom end that my mate's 61 and 63 strats fitted with originals have - I don't have the original pups - tried Bareknuckles irish tours which did have a lot of sparkle - higher output and I believe they are overwound.

  • request: Lindy to do a vid of his High Output strat pickups.

  • The straight pups sound much more liquid and organic to me : )))

  • I've been buying his pickups for years and he's always been cool to deal with over the phone. I think I'm done searching for a better pickup.

  • Any progress on split blade Tele sets?

  • how can they put the dots on the neck at the side like that ?

there is like no uglier way in my opinion :(

  • @inchskater because they chose to, moron

  • @inchskater i like them dotless

  • lindy's the man!!!

  • @kdjfnvjvd sounds quite cool, except that I would lose orientation at first :$

  • What's the first strat ? I can't recognize this logo

  • its a tommy rodriguez.

  • IMO, the Fralin neck BS is THE strat tone..
