Samsung is amazing. They started to race in phones, cameras, laptops, TV, fridge, microwave oven and all of them are getting remarkably better thru the years. The original Samsung SGH phones were a bit out cos the chargers all were different. But they keep going and improved. They put the consumer first. Apple? One product, strangle the production line, exploited workers until some are pushed to suicide. Blood in your hands those Apple toting buyers. Just like fur coat, or blood diamonds.

They will be mainstream in about 2 years, around the world. Until that time we will have more 2 iPhone and 20 Samsungs, giving to all Galaxy family no more upgrades.. even the old iPhone 3GS has much more support than the latest samsungs around here. Samsung built copys, always did. Now is with Apple, in the Past was with Nokia, using Symbian too.

@SafironX I know that but that's only the AT&T version. also im more of an HTC fan than samsung =P The GSII Skyrocket (alternate GSII) has 4G LTE (More advanced, much higher data capacity than HSPA+ aka "4G")

I dont know situatuion in US but in Europe network providers are still expanding 3G networks. I dont think that in 2012 will be any sign of 4G network here in europe... I'm sorry but making fun of company you ripping of because it doesnt have 4G sign on it and you do is just childish. Everybody will buy new phone until 4G arrives.

Yes. There were smartphones before the iPhone, naturally. They, however, got FAR more popular after the iPhone was released. The same goes for the iPad.
