  • Who's the team at 0:46?

  • @MsVividlyVibrant Final Destination

  • @MsVividlyVibrant Whhops. My mistake sorry. That's not final destination. That's faux D

  • Brought a tear to my eye! BEAUTIFUL! I used to clog & barn-dance, when I was a lot younger. It brings a tear to my eye to see young people following the traditions and doing it so well! Thanks for the time of putting this video together! It blessed me!

  • I clogged on a team in the 80's and I can tell you this, if we had used some of the music that I heard more than a few of these teams using in a competition, there would have been significant points taken from our final score, if not disqualification. What has the clogging world come to??? Don't get me wrong, I didn't see one bad performance in the whole video. I'm just sadden that the clogging world is steering away from the it's Bluegrass roots and moving towards a modern, jazzy style.

  • @gretagrits -- I agree with you... the performances were good but I am no fan of 'clip-clop' (clogging meets hip hop). Stick to the way clogging is supposed to be!!

  • @gretagrits Well things change. Some people like it. Some people don't. Every style of music and dance undergoes some sort of change or modernization. That doesn't mean that the traditional form is being phased out at all (As you can clearly see there are still plenty of traditional clogging teams out there, as well as teams that do both traditional and hip-hop).

  • @gretagrits

It would have most likely died out or at least been far less popular. Gotta keep it evolving to keep the kids interested and onboard new ones.

There are plenty of categories that require traditional music and dance to help remember our roots. So nothing is being lost... we're growing :-)

  • Southern Jewels is like we were back in the 90s........they are amazing i was a clogger for 12 years....i miss it so much......we went all over the world won many first places.......they are by far the best i have seen on here thanks for sharing.......cc needs lots of improvment

  • Clogging Demo 2006 is the best!

  • Wow, the Tennessee Hoedowners looked sloppy...

  • i love final destination! there style is so cool!

  • i miss Rise and Shine!

  • What exactly is the difference between standing and open?

  • Standing Line everyone stays in the same formation and faces the same direction. Open Line people can switch lines and make different formations... straight lines, diagonals, v-shapes, turn in different directions, etc.

  • please put up the whole mississipi squirrel dance!!!!!!

  • I'm doing promotion for clogging. I'm showing samples of the winners of the Showdown.

It's not my place to put up other teams' entire dances. Ask Blake.
