i apologise for that comment. i was drunk at the time and didn't realise the implications of what i said. i do realise that many innocent people were murdered in that pogram and it sadens me. i am truely sorry for any offense caused...from a drunkin arsehole
@MrShadowtruth but the UK conservative party MP are doing amazing work in rebuilding the lives of the Rwandans, this is the moral thing to do,going into partnership to help rebuild the future of their Children.
After all this some people/nations still think that Rwanda is exeggerating while it tries to bring to justice those who did it.Ita a shame that people deny these facts
these people pluck figures out of the sky. first it is 800 000 then 1 000 000 and now according to this video a number of 3 000 000 which i have never heard before. the disparity in the numbers makes you wonder if anyone was actually killed at all!. just being facetious.
Shame on you, you disgusting pig. You would not write those insulting words if you had a minimum of decency. I am refraining from wishing that what happened to us happen to you and yours. I would do that if, like you, I had no respect for anything including my own dignity
Terrible, terrible shame. How could our governments allow this and so many other crimes of mass murder happen over and over again.
By the way, XPNUNRGXP I don't know it what way we are meant to take your comment-are you trying to be funny? Trying show some respect and maybe you might get some respect. People died and you throw your hate around. Shame on you!
I understand the bitterness of the Rwandan people toward the French nation. However, i think that the British attitude of blaming the entire conflict on French inaction is wrong. it was the entire world's responsibility to act, not just one nation. the entire UN new what was happening, and did nothing. not just French, but Americans(I am one), British, Canada, pretty much every nation. its just that sad.
The problem with France was they aided the genocide by protecting the Interahamwe. That was very shameful and I'm sure most French people would be unhappy with their government for doing that. You are right that the world did not act to save the innocent but at least they did not help the killers. The Rwandan genocide was a dark chapter in France's history of dealing with Africa and the sooner they appologise the better.
Thank you for posting this video on an important subject matter that, quite honestly, did not receive enough media attention in the US (I am an American). For such a horrific and violent time, I barely remember any type of coverage from CNN or Fox or any of the big 3 stations in the US (ABC, NBC, CBS).
I will never understand this level of cruelty and evilness perpetrated in any nation against any people at any time for any reason.
in the late 1990s more than 3million rwandans were killed, so the U.N Lied To us Thats its just 800,000
