This is beautiful, absolutely heavenly. I plan on getting the full 3 inch system for my '99 9-3 5 door sometime in June/July. As for now, my Saab will soon be receiving an ETS intercooler and an ECU tune from JZW in about 2 weeks.
Nice video, I have a 1995 900SE with a TD04 full 3" w/ Cat and 3" glass pack, and it sounds exactly the same. I love how the sound changes when you hit high boost (my car its 3000rpm every time).
Question though, what kind of camera? I just got a Go Pro HD and I was going to mount it on the back bumper this spring and do the same video. Wondering if this was taken with a Go Pro.

It's north of Stillwater MN. I actually grew up about 300 yards from where the video ends, so I know the road pretty well, and felt ok about speeding on it.

Just what my Viggen needs (after the race clutch, Quaife LSD, motor&tranny mounts, etc. etc. I might end up blowing close to $15k on upgrades from Taliaferro on a car that's worth $11k. And it'd be worth every penny.
I never thought about just changing the muffler on it..I suppose that would do something. I just don't like it screaming at me like a banshee as it is now.
Don't take your cat out, your car will sound like a tractor at low revs. I've got a 2002 Viggen 5-door and used to have a straight pipe on it along with a 3 inch taileferro downpipe V.2. And I can tell you that you'll scare people and even yourself with that setup. I went through a tunnel once with my window just cracked slightly and came out the other side with my ears ringing badly. I went back to having a SAAB sport exhaust (with one muffler) along with the downpipe (with the race cat).
I think the idle sounds great, and I also think that the full 3" exhaust makes things a bit more smooth. It's hardly louder, all it has is a bit more "bark" to it, and more backfiring.
I also have an 1986 900 turbo that has a muffler the size of a soda can, so maybe I'm used to loud already.
is that the 2 muffler set up or the 1?

Close, but it's actually a "custom" JT 3" exhaust, because my car has a GT3071.
Also, totally worth it.

The exhaust is a 3" tube from the turbo to the muffler that is the size of a soda bottle.
