This is by far the best takeoff vid I have seen yet. I keep coming back to this one. It has the perfect angle, highest quality, best audio, and the audible radio traffic really adds to it. The fixed camera doesn't even vibrate during takeoff. I just wish it was a bit longer after takeoff.

in A320 ,, u can engage the autopilot once u pass 200ft AGL but u can continue flying manually though and engage it whenever u feel like it ,,, but in a bad weather i would engage it immediately after passing 200ft agl

I hope I understood your question right. I´am not sure about. I think that airlines are trying to keep up the competition between Airbus and Boeing to keep the prices as low as possible and the technology as modern as possible. That´s why Lufthansa for example buys A 380 and the 747-8 at the same time. Normally the 747-8 should not be competitive to the A 380. But creating a monopole of one manufacturer is not in the interest of airlines.

Yes the 777 is an impressive aircraft. No question about. But if you fly with an Airbus (especially the A 380) you see the futuristic design of the cabin, you feel the technological leadership of Airbus. Boeing seems to have difficulties to keep up with time. That does not mean that I don´t like Boeings aircrafts. The 757 for example is a nice one and the 747 will always be the first "queen of the skies". But Airbus is today in my opinion the ulimate benchmark !

Naw, "hate" is a strong word. I don´t hate the old "iron-cockpits" with all that gauges buzzing. Quite the contrary ! I like classic cockpits even more ! But I love the modern Airbus cockpit style especially at night. In my opinion it is much better than Boeings design. Airbus has the most beautiful glass cockpit available on the market today.

@richygambs321 that's true, in this phase of the takeoff the pilots follow the FD's instructions, the FD tries to alter the pitch angle so that the aircraft maintains V2+10 until acceleration altitude is reached, at acceleration altitude, the FD will lower the pitch, causing the plane to accelerate (hence the name ;)) to 250kts unless high speed is approved. If I got something wrong, correct me please :D
