Only the bloke on the right is an ausie but he now considers himself to be an honery Englishman. The convention was in England.

Great tyetree, let me know it does, I think you may get 4.5Ghz on air.
It's been recorded to hit about 4.7Ghz on air. 4.5 seems a reasonable estimate though.
Fantastic CPU, for me though, the E8400 is still the better buy. I'd be happy with 4ghz ;)

I've had better luck with my E8400, 4.3 with air, but now it's at 5.0 on phase, 5.1 is the max. May get an E8600 for perhaps 5.6-5.7 on phase.

Wish I would have waited for the E8600. Instead I got a E8400 and it sits at 4005MHz 24/7 stable. With a air cooling set up and P5K-E board all stack no mods except cooling via fans.
