  • You made it on my birthday!

  • In the stage Bridge of Eldin, Dedede's final smash would seem to work if they appeared above them, like for the hit to Toon link at 4:42

  • LOL Fox & Marth hit the screen at the same time. Spelling correction GO!

  • lol,fox&marth,hit,the,screen,at,the,same,time.

  • You really should stop putting commas between words where there should be spaces, since it's getting annoying.

  • i was using commas because my spacebar was broken. but now i have a new one so ok.

  • Are you the same person as before?

  • the reason i used commas was because my spacebar was not working.

  • 7:22 FOX IS ROAD KILL!! XD

  • do u play friend wifi matches

  • I do, but pretty rarely, as I don't find people online often at the times I play.

  • its incredible how you got every character and stage on the first day

  • No, I didn't pull that off. It took me about three days, I think.

  • lol Overhazard's Bellsomm(I know its spelled wrong) made Overhazard fall asleep!

  • lol, i dont know why some people say the online in this game is slow! its extremly fast.

  • There's a lot of lag you can't feel unless you're actually playing. Oftentimes, your character will attack about 1/3 of a second after you actually push the button.

  • Marth has definitely been toned down a lot, probably to "do away with the tiers". It seems he is still one of the most popular Brawlers though. I've been running into a lot of Marth's.

I didn't have as much fun using Dedede as I had hoped. Then again, we brawled on Melee's Yoshi's Island stage, and that was just asking for trouble. I have never done well there. I really liked the music at Bridge of Eldin in this vid.

Not much to say about the third match, but man does Bonsly pack a punch!

  • That's odd; I see a lot more Ikes than I do Marths, on both sides of the Pacific. I guess his status as a starting character, the novelty of his games, and him being bilingual gives him the edge over Marth in appeal.

I like Dedede...He's funny, in any context he's been in. I don't know if he's more specialized for certain stages (his Final Smash certainly is), and he's probably the slowest of the heavyweights, but I like his role as a comic villain and his endless optimism.

  • Hmm...that's interesting. I wonder if it's a coastal thing. Pacific coast for Ike. Atlantic coast for Marth. A SSBB civil war, perhaps? I actually prefer neither, though. =P

Dedede is definitely funny. I love him which is why I thought I would have more fun playing as him. I do really like that he is the only heavyweight that floats, and I get a kick out of his final smash. I want to get used to him because he's a great character, and I was very excited when he made the roster.

  • He isn't the only heavyweight with multiple jumps though; Charizard can essentially do what he does, though it flaps its wings rather than inflates.

Dedede is difficult to learn to use for many people. I remember reading about him being a bad character in the World Hobby exposition and in early impressions of the game. He's huge and attacks slowly. The idea is to do a few of his quicker attacks to build up damage, then catch people off guard with his forward smash. That's what I do.

  • Overhazard, your one of the best uploaders on youtube! I love all your videos! Also I love the fact that you reply to most of your comments(most users dont do that)! I have a feeling you might reply to this comment!

  • your random button seems to be picking almost the exact same characters; what is this? the third time with captain falcon?

  • Yeah, it's pretty odd. Well, not really; it's almost unavoidable that it would pick the same character many times. I simply hoped it would be one I'm good at, which isn't the case. It's yet to pick Ganondorf, Jigglypuff, Diddy Kong, Luigi, or a ton of others. Well, without getting disconnected during the Practice Stage.

  • For the 2nd match, that wasn't a motion sensor bomb that KOed Toon Link near the end; that was a gooey bomb instead.

  • So you saw what it was? I'll fix the description then. It was a mysterious KO attributed to me.

  • Alrighty. I read your correction, and noted that items around the same size as a Gooey Bomb were confusing to you. That sometimes happens to me too, as I frequently have trouble telling a Motion Sensor Bomb, Franklin Badge, or Screw Attack apart except from close distances.

  • Yeah, I usually can only tell them apart in the Subspace Emissary, where the camera is real close. I don't think I've even noticed a Franklin Badge outside of the Subspace Emissary.

It doesn't help that the Motion Sensor Bomb and the Screw Attack are now both purple.

  • You were great in all of your matches. Thanks again!

  • Whoah, so much updates. XD Kepping me feeling nice and full till the release!
