  • Always get a second opinion, docs dont always know what they are talking about and sometimes cannot be bothered to investigate further as in my case. Hodgkins is generally curable so if u get it dont panic! The chemo aint no big deal but it's a rough ride and u gotta take care of yourself, keep away from sick people, eat well and hang in there. I am cured of it now and send all my thoguhts and best wishes to anyone who has been through the same experience. Much Respect x

  • I had Hodgkins Lymphoma, just finished 6 months of chemo, docs took 7 months to diagnose, kept sending me away with antibiotics as my symptoms were tonsilitis. Angry that docs didnt pick it up sooner. ABVD chemo was rough was not as bad as expected. What the docs dont tell you is that one of the side effects of chemo is that it wipes out your immune system, I ended up with with Pneumonia, respiratory failure, septic shock on life support - just from the chemo! So if u need chemo, be careful!

  • Hi, does anyone know if hodgkinsons disease is contagious??? My friend has it and told me she had sex with another person

  • @paducee stupid Cunt!!!

  • @paducee you are a fuckin dumbass!

  • @cquackaz yow mama, BIARCH

  • Lymph nodes can be painful when swollen. Drs die of cancer all the time. He may not dress as well as some, but he is well spoken and has taken the time to explain it well. Thanks doc

  • yeh.. there's NO pain in relation to the node swelling.

  • How come we are always diagnosed with cancer and never the doctors. Cancer has not reduced the amount of doctors. I find this very strange or is it what I know that its better to leave it alone. Remove all the toxic non organic foods from your diet and knowing that cancer does not kill you even if the cancer tried its hardest. The chemo kill you and then they blame the cancer. Once you take chemo cancer is no longer the issue. At this point you and the cancer are fighting for your lives.

  • ugh, who dressed him?

  • is it fatial?? im 14 and im going to the doc wednesday its painfully so is it cancerous???

  • @OrlandoWa In all kinds of diseases and ailments knowing what you have exactly can mean life and death. Identifying, categorizing and understanding your current condition allow doctors to determine the proper and most effective means of making you better.

  • Im 24yr old male and been battling Hodgkins since i was 18yr old. Im now stage 3. I didnt have insurance and i tried disability and every thing i could think of to save my life. So people can say what they like about Obama's health care bill, But he is trying to give young people like myself a chance to have something ever human has a right to. That is to survive. I got sick during the Bush administration. So i wont get to see 30yr old but the other Bjornes will.

    google me Bjorne Monteleone

  • Hi im a 24yr old male. My mom battled Hodgkins disease on and off for nine years. And last year we noticed . She started losing weight quickly. We had to force her back to the doctor and he said it was back. And started chemo asap. The thing that bothers me, The chemo she recieved before was IV administered by Dr. Lee, And she was in remission with in six months. But this time Dr.Lee had retired. So we put our trust and faith in the doctor who replaced him. Dr. Frank instead of IV treatment .2
