I love getting to watch behind-the-scenes of Jim perform Link Hogthrob - this is the only footage of that I've found so far, and it made me happy. :)
FLP: Actually, the movie's been on the idea burner since 2006. And I am sure Cory is doing his best to remain true to the vision Jim and company created for the series, considering he himself was a fan of Henson once upon a time.
@collgoff Kathryn Mullen, who played Mokey on "Fraggle Rock", and had recently toured Afghanistan with her puppeteer husband with a show for children about watching out for landmines.
@LaDracul: She's married to former Muppet designer, Micheal K. Frith, who indeed, is a puppeteer himself these days. I just hope Kathy doesn't forget her Muppet roots and reprises Mokey once the Fraggle film does get the spotlight.
i always say that this is examplary of Jim Henson's magic. he literally showed you how he did things every step of the way.. and yet despite knowing it, we still believed in what we saw.. and now as an adult i cherish the behind the scenes almost as much as the on screen entertainment.. maybe even moreso as a filmmaker

It's nice to know Jim Henson was against violence on TV, too! Makes Kermit all that more special.

Nope. She did work on "Fraggle Rock", though.

LaDracul: Hopefully that most of the original cast--sans Jim, Richard, and Jerry (Juhl)--appears in the 2009 film.
