  • I appreciate any movie that is posted on here because I cant afford cable anymore but I still have internet, so thanks from the sw florida coast!

  • thumbs up

  • Patty Duke is one of my idols (we both have bipolar disorder) so it's nice to finally see one of her films.

  • This is an awesome movie! I was wondering where I could find a link to download it? I am asking because my grandmother loves this movie. If anyone knows, could you please tell me. It would be most appreciated. Thanks.

  • @TheKatiehaha

    try icefilms.info

  • i have the poster...

  • Been trying to find this movie. Thanks for posting!

  • hey, i just realized her son sean was born right after she made this movie. does that mean she really was pregnant (with him) during this?

  • @hithr3000 No, he was born before it.

  • the bus driver looks like Robert Redford but he was big in the seventies anyone know for sure who thanks

  • @gaiagale I am positive this is NOT Robert Redford.

  • @musikgal17 thanks

  • what the bakery dick doesn't help a completely pregnant girl to the door?

The FUCK was going on in the 70s?

  • @groovylocks if you're gonna curse like that, i wouldn't want your help to the door either, sir.

  • This is a GREAT movie! Always loved it and Patty Duke is gorgeous and a fantastic actress. Richard Thomas is creepy, psycho, and kinda sexy all at once. Very effective movie.

  • I remember watching this on TV as a young kid, maybe 10 or 11 years old. Its strange hearing her say; "It was necessary to drown some kittens." When I was a kid, people use to do that all the time, drown unwanted kittens and puppies in the bath tub. Even as a young kid I thought it was sick and barbaric and never understood how people could not only do it, but talk about it so nonchalantly. Who knows, maybe people still do it today and just don't talk about it. I hope not.

  • I think i was 12 when i 1st saw this and loved it thank you so much 4 posting it

  • Patty duke is the most beautiful woman ever<3

  • whoa, that store clerk is a charlie manson look-a-like. gives me a bad feeling...

  • @lowspark68 And his moustache is practically indescribable, too.

  • Good night, John Boy! You've been very bad.

  • @jensmom604 I think his mole is what makes this movie have an ominous feeling.....

  • @jensmom604 i don't think I'll ever be able to watch John Boy again the same way! ....and I love the Waltons :(

  • We just visited the mansion yesterday in Duluth and none of the people but one knew much about the movie. Books and stuff about some murder bet nothing about this Richard Thomas movie.. Very creepy place though. You get to look down the laundry shute LOL.

  • "I've been on buses so long, nothing's going to help"

I've heard about this movie... I'm really excited to see it.

Oh my gosh.. I can't believe what she says about the kittens.

  • all tht snow is making me cold..

  • Thank you for posting this! I have been wanting to see this forever, especially since I've visited the Glensheen Mansion in Duluth. Thanks so much!

  • awe...thank you much.....

  • Patty Duke was always in these desolate places all by herself in these movies.....very odd the choices she made but interesting too.

  • I remember seeing this movie on the midnight movies back in the late 70's. What a hoot to see it again!

  • THANKS a million for uploading this movie!!! You're absolutely FANTASTIC!!!

  • The book was really suspenseful too - I recommend it highly. Never quite looked at

    " JOHNBOY" the same

  • This movie gives me the creeps. Just the idea of being snow bound in a mansion with some weird creepy chain smoking woman.

  • Thanks so much for posting this. You see a lot more of Glensheen in this movie than on the tour!

Funny how Francesca goes to the back door, but is let in through the front!

  • Ahh.. Patty Duke. Where would made-for-t.v.-movies be without Miss Duke?

  • This was a theatrical realease

  • I love old movies too. I love Richard Thomas. I am now going to watch your movie? Is he from the South USA?

  • I've looked for this several times in the past, kept checking just in case and now bam, here it is, thank you so very much:)

  • I cant believe this movie is here.netflix doesnt even have it.thanks
