  • Yes there truly are wild horses in Alberta....I watch some around Hinton, near Jasper National Park. Unfortuately, the Alberta Sustainable Resouces branch of the government pays wranglers to bounty hunt them and they end up being sold at auctions (Drayton Valley) and then are trucked for 8 hours to Fort McCloud for slaughter for European and Japanese dinnerplates...Join WHOAS (Wild Horses of Alberta) sign the petition, write to the government and news broadcasters before they are all killed!
