Well seems like alot of you idiots think the 700xx is a POS because its not the fastest.............well lets see, its not a 450r DUH! The 700xx was built for the purpose of long, harsh, nonstop riding in rough area's like dessert and wood. Its engine design is built for torque....not speed. Do a little research on the quad and what its design purpose was intended for. Put a soild axle quad against a 700xx in a gncc harescramble event and we'll see who dogs it then.

@rblbsktbll i'd like to see your paper work and proof of these speeds. I have exhaust, intake, and fuel programmer and my quad would never go that fast. You engines rev limiter would kick in before reaching those speeds unless you changed gear ratios to run taller.
@rblbsktbll Well i know for a fact that your trx will not run a quater mile in 6 seconds. Maybe mid 15's if your lucky, mainly because of your top speed. I can guarantee that your atv will not break 100mph. probably not even 90mph. It may get to 60mph pretty quickly but after that its all down hill.
Too bad a basic and simple 400EX is simpler, more reliable, far lighter, and is better and faster through trails. About the only plus is the fuel injection on the 700.
the 700xx raptor honda in my country it was transported from US. and the price is fucked up ,cause for that $ i can buy a new one :) ,but i really don't understand why yamaha 450 gytr have 55hp with sport double exhaust and everything else stock and they say 700xx have 54hp or raptor 700 SE have 60hp ,but i don't think so :)
I picked my 700XX up a couple months ago. I've rode it like 5 times in what I call extreme conditions. I ride with experienced riders in the mountains of W.Va. This is a 3.5 hr drive for me or I ride all the time. My TRX will keep up with my Cousins Polaris RZR 800. The IRS will flat ass fly in the corners. While the stright axel is spining tires and sliding aroung, Im grabing and gone. My Honda will smoke my Uncles 700r and his buddies 750 Brute force. On the black top I pass all. $4500. + T&T
This video sucks, im an avid 4 wheeler rider, and these fucks are sub par shit. that being said, as far as everyones ranting about the 1/4 mile times, its "the fro's" quarter mile. and after he does his blazing fast 9 second run you can clearly hear the narrator say that 200 meters wasnt enough to open the quad up. thats only 600 feet give or take, no where near 1320.
Yea, right. A Hayabusa doesn't even run that low of a 1/4 mi. time. It runs in like 9.89 and there's no way that heavy s.o.b. can do it in nine seconds.maybe an 1/8 of a mile.

Sprockets are easy to change. I did mine in 15 minutes. The 700 IS faster than the 450r. It'll do 80mph stock and has more hp than the 450r. I've raced quite a few 450's and have beat all but the all out race built machines. If you know how to ride you'll have no problem beating a 450. For the trails you cannot beat the 700xx.
i own one of these... im not totally satisfied.... i traded in my trx 450 r for it.... the power is alot more smoother....but the 450 was actually faster up to about 400 m.... u guys are right about the chain...what a bitch to change sprockets ... my overall thoughts on it its a sport bike for older people lol...it doesnt snap the front end up like the 450...and its alot heavier....trail riding is awesome on it tho.....7 out of 10 from my experience with it
also the irs isnt smth i really like on a sport quad....its really rolly in the back when u start going around corners....it digs to hard and doesnt slide around like the swingarm does
k guys this atv is amzing i would die for one. i am 13 and all i have is a 2WD rancher and a 250EX to fool around with. This atv has a very well set up chain, and yes it would be a bitch to get to but it most likely wont have any problems because of the honda setup

The straight-axle is easier to pitch-around and slide and it tends to track straighter through whoops and it's lighter in weight...BUT the clearance, independent suspension and overall travel gives back in other areas. It's not a track quad, get a 450R if you want that. Should it come as any surprise that you give-up some things to get others? This is an open-class desert screamer or trail bike, not a lightweight zippy motocross tracker. That last thing it is, is a piece of sh!t
It's funny that the people that do not OWN one and never RODE one say it's a piece of shit. Most 700r and 450r riders I have met have been impressed with the power and handling of the 700xx. You cannot apply the same riding techniques to the IRS 700xx as you do with a SRA machine. The one application the 700xx was mainly designed for and excels at and that is rutted, rough trails. With just over 10" of clearance it'll blow away a 700r or 450r in the trails when the other 2 ATV's get stuck .

Yes front sprocket. The rear is a little more tricky, but only takes about 30-45 mins to change.
