i done all that to my phone, and it done the whole reset, but the stupid thing sitll asks me for lock code, it wont accept the default one or the one that i set for it (which it the reason i have to hard reset) =(... can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong, or if there is something else i can do???

an easier way is to have the phone fully charged, and pluged in then type in *# 7780 # do this at your own risk.

You don't actually have to keep pressing THAT long. Once the Nokia logo shows you can quick pressing the buttons and just wait for it to reset

It isn't hard reset, it is MASTER RESET (Hard Reset with memory formatting) t do hard reset without formatting just type on the keyboard *#7030#
