Have you ever used paracord? You "tie" the ends together by melting them together. Paracord is really awesome and if you just look up paracord on YouTube you will find tons of different knotts you can tie for bracelets and such. Paracord is used by the military and also known as survival cord

However, there are various chotki sizes: 11 knots ('ring'), 22 knots ('bracelet'), 50 knots ('half-length'), 100 knots ('standard'), 200 knots ('monk's chotki'), and 300 knots ('Bishop's chotki'). So just experiment and have fun! As you get more experienced, you'll develop a feeling for how much cord you need.

I bought chord to make a Chotki and the chord has been cut and then knotted. I don't think there is enough chord for all 33 knots. Is this a problem?
