I adore your teaching mythology. Curriculum/ instruction would greatly benefit by adapting a model similar to your presentation style. Particularly with how you employ metaphors/ analogy and similes to aid in the connection of somethings impersonal/ distant facts or ideas about the current world we live in.

the only thing about the Kent State reference is that the troops fired on the crowd as a result of a few idiots throwing rocks.they had the right to defend themselves.
you may find thos men flawed, but they are the only men you can hold on to have a more free world. I dont consider hendrix or morrison to be that great musicians, so ill switch them out with beethoven, wagner, or bach... and say "dont throw out the baby with the bath water"... anarchism has never worked sucessfully anywhere, so idealism has to be weighed with pragmatism and experience. you throw away the forefathers, you throw away tradition which is the only real idea combating statism
I would argue that Statism has never worked successfully anywhere(maybe you can give me an example)and that the founding fathers wasted no time proving their hypocrisy with heavy taxation, using troops against their own people, arming terrorists and then trying to bypass Congress to go to war(not to mention slavery, and the rights of Women, and genocide of the native population) .These actions follow tradition but are not justified or excused by pragmatism or revisionist propaganda.
Im argueing for limited government and that whatever change a culture makes should be done with experience and foreknowledge, whether that is changing the political governance or culture.
The arguments you have given is unrelated to whether it have worked or not. A civilization that kept itself alive for a couple of generations have "worked". One that collapsed haven't.

This argument is facetious on one significant point, the premise. It ignores states in which Duelling is permitted. If any state can implement code-duello then no state has exclusive use of force. It also ignored Convictions for Homicide resulting in no punishment, as in justifiable homicide or self-defence. Any state that has separated criminal and penal codes then has no exclusive use of force.
stefbot had a valid thought experiment but needs to be revisited with the above two (2) caveats. I'm not excusing anything, just want a more robust look at it. I think stefbot can handle it.
Great work Stefan! Blind people just can't see it. You could translate just the first Q and let us the rest as homework :-)
The drug dealer is in! Obama gave today his reply to people that are against his form of statism: /watch?v=RLx-g511IQc
It would be great if you can create an answer to what Obama said above. When they are starting to make fun of people against their type of democracy, my opinion is they are getting afraid. I saw Obama making fun of them/us for two times in the last week...
Just as when it was revealed to Obama that most Americans are sick and tired of the war on ganja consumers, Obama diffuses reality by making fun of all those people.
interesting idea, but the ron paul thing at the end was bogus... he is a statist and product of democracy, but i see your point... gotta work with what you have even if it sucks and btw ron paul wont live up to his promises
Ron Paul will be no more capable of living up to his promises than Obama has been, nor any politician in the corrupt American government. It is not necesarily the fault of any given politician, it has become endemic to American government.

Do you think the Vietnam war and the draft had anything to do with it?

Regarding question 6, about censorship.
The Pentagon strike on 911 was a good example of State censorship.
13:04 "zero" whisper, lol that was creepy!
Superb video, Stephen, thanks!

No, they can't show the tapes because the private owners of the tapes don't have an obligation to show them to the public.
DaveDoggOwns 2 years ago
The owners of the tapes do not have the tapes; they were confiscated, as evidence, by the FBI.

Well, the government is a bunch of idiots.

Do you worship drug users from the past like Jimmy Hendrix or Jim Morrison?
Translation
Do you worship violent hypocrites from the past like George Washington or Thomas Jefferson?

You used too many big words. People don't like that. :/

The problem is not "big" words. The problem is excusing rampant ignorance.
