While this seems inhumanly fast, its very real. If you practise for a while you will see that its possible. There are other people picking at his kind of speed too, so that fact alone should show that its possible.

Secondly, any experienced player will tell you that economy of motion is the easiest way to get speed. i.e. the faster you go, the smaller and less perceptible your movements are likely to be.

Lastly, this is a picking demonstration. Judge it accordingly, hes not going for a grammy

@FreerunnerDave I flat pick. The only difference is, having the pick sideways sounds sloppy and the attack isn't as clear. When I flat pick with this technique (which I stopped doing so much because of the potential tendon damage) I barely hit the string with the pick. Less drag=easier speed.

its not that efficient when going from one string to another, and i agree, i think its not possible for the other hand to keep up unless you play one note two or three times, but still, its really fucking fast
