My friend who owns it said her sister teased him with a piece of chicken, and in turn had to get 17 stitches on her face. I'm very lucky the dog realized I wasn't a threat and let go. It hurt like hell, though.
hey plz could anyone tell me if theres a site just for akitas or if anyone has 2 male akitas how they get on ? i ruscued pup but dont want to get too attached if there gonna be fighting cause of the dominating factor in the breed thanks
You just need to ease the pup into the Akita, we got a Chi puppy, and the Akita just teaches it things, the chi thinks of her as his mom. But we needed to be careful she didn't eat the little guy first, we kept a eye on them for about a week, after that they are always fighting, and my Akita is very nice with him, and lets the chi win.
Very sweet :P I wish my akita would share like that but he gets a lil crazy when his brother touches his toys never mind his food so there well trained :P well done for havin 2 such loving dogs :)
thats good sharing, my longcoat went a bit crazy when a dog went for her treat! but then again she has never learned to share or had to so i suppose thats a good excuse. They are so cute i love watching dogs play and get along
