omg! It's a PREDECESSOR to the blockade runner... how can it be a homage when it's based chronologically BEFORE the blockade runner was designed? and you call yourself a SW geek... Also... another fact is it has them lego bumps all over it! It wont be accurate as its a LEGO model... also I bet the landing gear was designed to retract... else they coulda used one piece for the landing gear and saved cash.

You seem to have missed that the inverted 'L' shaped object above the back of the removable panel on the main body doubles as a rock solid handle. It's the item you call 'this feature here' at 11:40.

And as delicate as the engines are during construction, they're completely solid once done and mounted.

I only have two gripes about it.

I wish it was more maroon and less red.

I wish Lego wouldn't give exclusive sets to a company (ToysRUS) that constantly charges 10-30% OVER the MSRP.
