Also if you look in the one picture on the stormtrooper page you can see that the female stormtrooper's armor has... errr... modifications to allow for a female physique.

(episode 4 the falcon had a tracker device put on it revealing the location of the Rebel Base to the Death Star. The Tantive 4 boarding actually showed stormtroopers effectiveness

No wonder they couldn't shoot Luke in the death star when he was standing still and even looked away for a second. Leia is at the door spot, Han and Chewbacca and running and Luke is standing there being shot at and there was not even one shot that was close to hitting him.
