@blackgenet lol thanks haha , I dont want to say it,but I illustrate/draw alot. which either influences my songs or writing. but honestly hah thanks for the compliment man lol
most recently there has been a point in my life, of either one of two paths, Left, torwards dispair, trial, judgement, misjudgment, a point of no direction, or Right, Joy, Overwhelming comsumption with the feeling of love itself, and passion for everything, each time im driving down this narrow long path, my care blinkers dont work, and i smash through the street sign, to only reveal path number 3. Eternal Bliss. self realization with yourself as one. this song, is nothing more then utter bliss.
when I hear this song,I think about a young person, walking down a royal hall and wide grassy land, reflecting on their life in picture frames,. and as the song is near its end,the young person wakes up from the dream and reminiscent, only to find that they are in the grave yard ,next to the tomb stone of his/her past flame. leaving a rose and walking away into the afternoon light
I slept to this song and had a dream where I was a demon flying over a very depressing land filled with mountains, darkness and a red sky, think there's something wrong with me..
@jaddajn1 some glorious mo fo decided to make a website to solve that problem. Type - repeat - after the youtube in the browser. Just to clarify, 'repeat' before the .com ENJOY!

Woke up from a dream in which I was pitching a film idea to the director of Walt Disney. The film was going to be called 'Dead Rainbows' in which the world was run by robots and humans had found the technology to live without light from the sun or water (don't ask...) and this song was the theme tune fo the film. The director of Walt Disney asked me: "Isn't this a little depressing for a Disney film?", and I replied: "Depressing!? No, this is about realism"... I don't think the kids will get it.

I really get what you're feeling. When I saw this movie and heard this incredible music, I was so shaken, I didn't watch it again until this year. Then I looked up the music on YT. Feeling emotion deeply is a good thing. This is your precious humanity.... even feeling depressed. However, "being stuck" is an attack. I take authority over this stuckness you had then or have anytime you listen again. I break the hold of being stuck and loose you from all bondage, NOW! In His Name!

this was the first Radiohead song I heard in 2001. I felt so scared, but couldn't stop listening to it. That has never happened to me in all my life. I've been a fan ever since then. Just purely brillant. Since that day, this song has changed the way I listen to music
I have definitely seen someone with full black eyes, but it was only for a moment. No doubt in my mind though/. We drown in the river and inevitability is our only thought. The way out of the river is to look at what chased you into it.
@rupefan In Egypt a pyramid is a monumental tomb for the Pharaoh, the King fallen into the hands of death and his consorts. There are things in this royal tomb that helps him in his way to a "better place" heaven in this case. While at life in this planet was insecure threatened by sickness and the death itself when you're death you have nothing to fear. "All my past and future" means that the time is relative when you're at high speed in an "astral car."
@rupefan Hermann Hesse is great. I think the song might have something more to do with dropping acid near ruins in Egypt or South America, but who knows. It's called "Pyramid Song" and seems to describe a trip, either spiritually or on drugs. One of the two.
@Polyfusia I don't think it simply describes an acid trip.. It's archetypal. It's a mythological motif. Yes, it is about SOME thing, but it doesn't really mater what that thing is to Thom Yorke... It is an ink blot. Find what you will find in it.
Hey Fred, I hit the skip button. TOUGH SHIT.

Anyone notice the similarity between the lyrics of this, and of swing low sweet chariot?
Pyramid song: "I jumped in the river, and what did I see,
Black eyed angles swam with me."
Swing low: "I looked over Jordan, and what did I see?
A band of angels coming after me."

I have definitely seen someone with full black eyes, but it was only for a moment. No doubt in my mind though/. We drown in the river and inevitability is our only thought. The way out of the river is to look at what chased you into it.

Beautiful. Siddhartha... I think this song's related to that book... And the feeling of dying. And the beautiness after death.

@rupefan dying and giving birth is the most beautiful part of life. and no i am not a goth.

@rupefan Hermann Hesse is great. I think the song might have something more to do with dropping acid near ruins in Egypt or South America, but who knows. It's called "Pyramid Song" and seems to describe a trip, either spiritually or on drugs. One of the two.
Polyfusia 1 year ago
@Polyfusia I don't think it simply describes an acid trip.. It's archetypal. It's a mythological motif. Yes, it is about SOME thing, but it doesn't really mater what that thing is to Thom Yorke... It is an ink blot. Find what you will find in it.
