Whenever I hear the word ROCKSTAR, Kurts face slams into my brain. And its not true what they say. "People are appreciated more when they're dead". Everyone's feelings about Kurt's genius was always recognized even before his death. I really wish someone would grow some balls and bring grunge back out. Sick of all this bullshit on the radio these days.
@garrettwilson70 -like FuckingStanz said, grunge doesnt need to be "brought back", we need a new style with that same sort of energy and passion. We dont need a bunch of bands rehashing the same old stale ideas. Doing that would be going against the spirit of the music itself.
Nothing wrong with being influenced by this type of music but trying to revive it would be such a waste of time, its been done. we need new ideas
@jmniebla Thats William S. Burroughs, an important writer from the beat generation in the last century, Kurt and him recorded one of his writings with Kurt playing noise with his guitar and William reading it, it is named "The priest they called him", really weird stuff, weirder than David Lynch.
best version is the one where he screams out of bridge and into bridge # 2 Before the ending.. if that makes sense
