  • Lets face it, Hollywood has been full of bullshit from day one.

  • Never buying an HP again.

  • Yup, all us VFX artists are irrelevant. All it takes is some A-list has-been actors and a bunch of HP workstations to make a movie. FUHP! Plus, your computer are crashy pieces of sh&@!!!

  • What a disgraceful insult to everyone who worked on this film. I'll be that much less likely to buy HP anymore.

  • worst-marketing-ever.

  • My z800 keeps crashing.

  • An insult to the artists and animators

  • I have to say, as a CG artist, this is really insulting to me.

  • Give me a fricken' break, HP computers suck balls

  • I just got rick-rolled by a computer?

  • I think the Z800 need some better looking girls

  • This is great! Very creative.

  • This is dreadful.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=cfTgxrxL9ug Simpsons already did it.

  • +1 for the cg artists. Would they all fit in that limo?

Hopefully though, they wouldn't have to pay as much as I'll bet HP did.

  • I like how this video has sounds from Final Cut and Motion libraries...

  • This video is going to be even more hilarious years down the line when this looks as slow as a C64 does today. They could've celebrated the video FX artists that use the devices, but we praise the tools not the creators?

  • @DarkArtist then the creative department for HP are idiots. Aside from the fake crowd cheering, why not bring in the actual CG artists and give them a chance to speak on how the machine worked for them? As opposed to some actresses giving phoned in lines. Calling the computer the "scene creator" is ludicrous and a slap in the face to the artists who used the computer to really make the movie what it is.

  • @starswstarr1 Also the sysadmins too who have maintain a working environment 24/7 to keep the production running.

  • Maybe the dedicated team of talented CG artists who actually are responsible for creating every pixel of that movie should be walking the red carpet instead? Great workstation but it's a big paperweight without an artist.

  • @samuelconlogue I think you're taking this too seriously. It's just a harmless publicity stunt. The creative team were probably the ones who came up with it.

  • @DarkArtist I seriously doubt...

  • Love it!! Looks like a lot of fun!!
