  • Such A Nerd.

  • @josh17jared27 nees to know this stuff if you want good money at a job with a technagie bassis

  • Dude, your videos are very informative. I never knew that the WiiMotes (that's what I call the Wii Remote because to me it makes sense that way.)

This almost gives me an idea of how the Numchuck works, namely because I don't retain a lot of information that I have learned. But definately thanks for uploading this!

  • your so smart i have always wondered how it worked thank you so much!! :)

  • Great video. Very explanatory. I'll use it as webography for a university paper !

  • My mind just exploded

  • Jesus wtf do you do for a living? Did you make the wii? LoL

  • 3:10 ... bttf reference... clicks like.

  • Great job man, if only high school teachers could explain it so simply and with so much passion Americans wouldn't be so stupid

  • what the hell is this!!!!!!!!!!! Mind=Blown

  • I wonder what other mentally insane technology Nintendo could come out with.

  • yoshi's on the shirt XD

  • I got lost when you said 'most',

  • I use my wii mote to play games on my pc too. Games like counter strike though the sensitivity is not anywhere near high enough for me, so usually I have to change some of the profilers settings and some of the games settings.

  • Yeah I saw some of the displays of this software when he first started showing it off. Nintendo or some 3rd party company where all fools for not picking up on this guys tech, as it would have been the first to the gun on 3d gaming. Which would have made it self dominating in the market, it would not only be ahead because of motion controls but it would also be ahead because of 3d games.

  • my head hurts.

  • Hey remember that six-axis sonsor in the original ps3 controller? No. Ok then moving on.

  • i feel dumber watching this video i don't get it????

  • thats on my brithday

  • Wait, do you live in the US?

  • I have the same tv :D

  • I used this knowledge to trashtalk a fanboy who thought he was so smart being a fanboy about the move :)

  • LOL Have A Cookie! 00:38-00:42

  • Riddle me this: how do Pokeballs work?

  • @a1r2h3m4 It's quite simple, really. A spomatogonium deep in the epithelium of the seminiferous tubules gives rise to a primary spomatocyte. The spomatocyte constantly emits alpha-gamma radiation, so it can be used to generate enough power to condense solid matter into an infinitesimal volume, and can instantly reform matter using a quantum-neutrino hyperboloid accelerator. That's just a basic description, though. Character limits will not allow me to explain all of the science. =D

  • what did i just listen to?? i didnt learn much but very awesome 0.o

  • Great video! Very informative. :-)

  • Oh my god, science I actually understand! And I don't even know algebra!

  • You've got a Yoshi in your pocket. I guess I could have made a pocket monsters joke but I couldn't.

  • The Back to the Future reference automatically makes this the greatest Wiimote video created. Kudos sir.

  • 3:10 Hilarious Back to the Future reference. Am I the only one nerdy enough to have caught that? 8)

  • Duck Hunt! Sick outro.

  • are you a university professer or something? if not you have the protential to be one.

  • Huh... so the WiimotePlus and the Move both work... now it's only a matter of choosing witch system will let me cut people and let me see blood.

  • What about the recently released Wii-Mote plus what is the difference between this and the Wii ,mote plus.

  • Educational. now pour me another Whsikey

  • Thanks you the technical description! I always knew what the wiimote used to work it's magic, but I always wondered how the accelerometer itself worked :)

  • I want that cookie!!

  • Is there a reset button...?

IS THERE A GOD DAMN RESET BUTTON?

  • @Aliibox yes!

  • @Aliibox I am glad that there is no reset button, because that will be problem during intense gameplay.

  • I don't like you! You made me feel dumm. -_-

  • nice video! :) smart people are smart xD

  • Nice BTTF reference!

  • w00t new Roo video!

  • @Zaziuma Ok if you say "please" in your comment, you obviously couldn't trash talk your way out of a preschool orientation.

  • @Zaziuma

1.) Jokes about fanboys and console superiority are all tongue in cheek.

2.) I own no stock in companies that manufacture game consoles, so feel free to trash talk all you'd like. It doesn't affect me either way.

  • @ClanOfTheGrayWolf Dude i love this series as much as the next guy but... 16-bit gems ep 21, is about time.

  • @ClanOfTheGrayWolf Cmon man, dont you think that you're being a little to harsh on Sony? I mean all ideas come from somewhere else and it really shouldnt matter as long as the thing works right? ILL admit that i myself grew up with the PS1 and i am a Sony guy, but i understand that Nintendo is a great company as is Sega (Microsoft is good but they need to work harder on their designs, RROD sucks) I guess ill im saying is, cant we agree their both great companies and systems and call it a day. :P

  • @ClanOfTheGrayWolf C'mon Roo. We all know Nintendo pwned Sony on all fronts this generation. Even hardcore gamers bought the Wii...and hardly ever played it.

  • I hate how people keep saying the WiiMotionPlus is what the Wiimote should've been in the first place. I don't think anyone wanted to pay over 300 dollars for a wii when it first came out...

  • @ClanOfTheGrayWolf are you a teacher of some sort because I actually got interested in this are an engineer technical

  • @Zaziuma Fuck man, you can't be serious, what are you, 12?

  • @Zaziuma Aren't you playstation 3 fanboys already trashtalking about xbox 360 and nintendo wii?

  • Man do I love this series. Keep up the great work! :)

  • Very informative, nice work Roo

  • Huh, and all this time I thought the wiimote was just a penis shaped magic stick.

  • Very informative.

  • Awesome video!

  • Yes! I love this series!

  • Great video!

  • Clever ending. Zapper eh?

  • Great job! I really enjoy the way games work series!

  • Odd, no mention of the Wii Remote Plus. Then again, it's just a combination of the Wii Remote and Motion Plus into one glorious package.

  • whats playing in background

  • I deserve a cookie.

  • Could you check out the sixense device?

  • Woah, i didn't know you could replace the wii sensor bar with two candles!

I'm gonna go try that out!

  • The PS Move also looks like a dick.

  • @nljuggalo something may be wong with your dick rudolf

  • @trevortes My dick is fine, it makes the girls holla.

  • @nljuggalo maybe they holla "rape" , but seiously if ur shit has a glowing head maybe see a doctor or maybe an electrician

  • hey i wonder if the wii nunchuck works the same way as the wii remote or it different.

  • @supersmashman90 Yes it does, since the nunchuck has motion controls similar to that of the wii remote. The only major difference (that I know of) is that nunchuck has an analog stick.

  • @evilmonkeyman289 I mean the nunchuck, sorry for the grammatical mistake.

  • @evilmonkeyman289 and no IR sensor at the end of it.

  • @supersmashman90 evilmonkeyman289's right. The nunchuck is basically an analog stick with buttons and a 3-axis accelerometer. I could have mentioned it, but the tech it uses is the same as the Wii remote. Same deal with the Wii Remote Plus - it just integrates the Wii MotionPlus into the Wii Remote. The underlying ideas are the same.

  • Where's my cookie?

  • Nice Foreshadowing.

  • VERY interesting, you know a lot of thing !

  • awesome PSMove joke.

  • I already watched this on your page, now i am confused ;D

  • Nerdwin.

  • I subscribed to this channel after seeing your interview of Derek Alexander from Magfest. I watched all your 16-bit gems videos (great series by the way) and I was interested to see what other videos you would put up. But this, well this is just straight awesome. Really didn't see a video like this coming. Looks like I need to go back a watch some of the other videos you have up here. Glad I subscribed.

  • awesome video!!!

did the controllers work after you reassembled them?

  • @grinrause Sure did. Just used them yesterday,

  • Back to the Future reference noted... Awesome Vid, Roo!

  • the music is freacking awesome

  • can you not make great videos

  • You are really smart.

  • AWESOME SHIRT!

    where did you get it?

  • @shinjanaytor I got it way back in the early 90's from the Nintendo Super Power Club. I have no clue how I still have it.
