I just did it and as I was running on my way back after pulling that last lever, the last fire grill turn on then the second then the third...all because of the floor pole. I just got frustrated and quit, i'll try again later because this walkthrough is really good, I didnt even know what do do before that and I always got lost but now I know the mapping of this place. No matter how much tomb raider games scare me for underwater levels I will always love the games! I'm excited about the new TR!

this was my first tomb raider when I was a kid, untill now I notice glitches in the game and still I dont care about them because its got a great gameplay and good graphic (at the time made ofcourse).

The level is OK for me but the only problem I had in this level is trying to swim into the ship for air. The sharks are quite dangerous. The shark followed me into the ship and I gave 5 harpoon shots at it, then it tried to bite me, I dodged it and shot it 3 more times and it died. It takes 8 harpoons to kill the shark.

at 4:30 when yhou jump to that box on the left, you can just jump to the one on right, right from the edge, jump and grab, cut out the middle box ; ). also that shortcut previously really helped if you wana beat it quickly! good job!

Nowadays they can make lifelike games where limbs can be chop off and blood can be seen all over the screen. But nothing is so scary as the beginning of this level. Especially the first you already panic because your co2 gauge deceasing rapidly and you need to get out of the water. Suddenly realizing a big shark is track you down...

5:13-5:35 you wasted a ton of ammo...the pistols are a better choice IMO. However, you probably arn't patient enough to wait for them to pass by.

I agree! If we are on the same wavelength... Games in those days didn't have the best graphics so instead they relied on a strong storyline. These days it all about how realistic the explosions look. There are a few good games that break this trend, such as Assassins creed, but predominantly boring 1st person shooters with a weak storyline is where its at... I still Play Marathon 2 over Halo 3.... Game sucks balls!!

What I loved about Tomb Raider II was the atmosphere. It had a strong ethereal feel as the game progressed. I havent played many games that have achieved this. Tomb Raider I the III would be my next favoured.

Sometimes I just like to watch the animals like the sharks just move around. Their isn't much point in killing sharks. They are almost always far from the surface and they take over 10 harpoons to bring down! I just ignore them and the baracudas.

The only scientific explanation is that there is a very high pressure, but no man could survive in that condition. However, I think I've played the whole game about 20 times.
