When i play games like COD, AOC or Trackmania, my GPU temperature goes to around 96 celcius! then my pc suddently turns off! i got like 5 fans in my cabinet, and it doesnt stand in any locker or anything. But the wierd thing is.. When the PC was brand new and i just have bought it, AOC worked just fine with full graphics, now it get overheated and turns off after 5-10 minutes! i've tryed to run AOC on the lowest graphic, but i still get the same result.
Lol 2 months reply but it might be super dusty, i think with my old old computar it had lotsa dust in it, and when i cleaned it out it was fine, a lot of dust can harbour a lot of heat. hope i helped
Guy dont listen to sephiroth, apparently he dont know shit about computers, use vista FTLOG, XP can only allocate 2gb of ram so use vista, its not that bad. i got dual core 2.43ghz, 9 series graphics card, 4gb ram, broadband and im getting around 35fps normal 15-20 in cities and on medium with far looking i never drop below 45
Yes you can in later lvls. But the reason for the "man skirt" as people would put it. Is that these people are supposed to be warriors, who need to be able to move around. If you look back at the Dark Ages in Europe the knights couldn't move at all. So picture more of the Scots than typical Medeval Europe. It's to be more realistic.

I can run it on max everything on at 1920x1200, and my fps stays over 30 even in cities. If you wanna run it on max and not lag (cities especially), get XP. XP is proven to be 25% faster then vista and isn't a resource hog... I've had both, sticking with good ol' reliable XP. Anyway hope that helps
I just got Q6600, and have a 8800gt In PCI 2.0x16, But it is a 256mb card, 2gigs of 800 mhz ram. So pretty similar to yours, i am wondering if you can play it decently on 1680/1200 or those higher resolutions.

well.. a 9600GT works fine with a few spike lags.. Its also cheaper.. from where i live.. MUCH cheaper.. for the price value i would say the 9600GT.. but for better performance .. if money is not the problem.. go ahead and get the 8800GT.
