Being a British series, I'm surprised there is not a "bird like" creature in the persona of Sir Douglas Bader. Having of course, double leg amputations. Tin (bird) legs or a wheeled undercarriage would be suitable.
For those that are unfamiliar, he's the subject of the book and movie "Reach for the Sky". A man that lost BOTH his legs in an aircraft accident, learned to walk on TWO tin ones, (the first man to do so) and RE-Joined the RAF in wartime to only become an inspirational legend!
OK, I will ask here... Can I use these clever videos for projetcs of mine that involve eduational efforts... I will take no reply as a YES I can use them.
I do not own a video camera or web camera. Look at my channel if you like, and see what I am doing.
This campaign is great. People with disabilities are just that, normal people that happen to have something slightly different about them but it doesn't change the fact that they're ordinary people
@rnb8220 What annoys me is the fact that any able-bodied person could one day be in a wheelchair. A car accident, falling off a building, anything could happen and put someone in a wheelchair. So I just don't understand the the attitude some people have towards disabled people. I think people are a lot crueler towards mentally disabled people because you can't physically see that they are disabled. People are really awful.
