  • the interviewer sounds like the man who was on 60 minutes critizing this invetion and sridhars ideas.. the interviewers a hipocritical bastard. check out sridhars 60 minute interview.. you'll recognize the same voice as the interviewer inthis video he was a the guy who was complaining that sridhars ideas are wack as fuckk

  • put it in cars!

  • wow. all you hear is facebook this and facebook that and how facebook is gonna transform the world and how facebook is worth 100 billion USD. When this is the real innovation that everyone should invest in!

  • it dosen't looks like true because if its true on first place government will take charge of it and fuel companies get challenge, utility company also come to him and first place NASA will offer him some thing. Did he patented this product. where is the real facts like input cost and output cost maintainability product life and the benefit etc.

I can be wrong with the right answers.

  • @S200773 Realistically, the government and fuel/utility companies aren't going to get all up in arms, they're struggling to maintain as it is. If they can circumvent their work load then all the better! Input cost and output cost are obvious, and product life can only be speculated upon until actively tested, which is what they want to do now... You aren't very sharp, are you...

  • @S200773 ...what does that even mean?

  • We also have a lot of land for manufacturing. I'm sure you could have plenty of volunteers to try out this new system.

  • We have plenty of sand in the sand hills for the wafers. Throw in a little methane gas from the cow, a little sun and wind for alternative energy sources and we have a new start up business.

  • has anyone heard of "Blue Gen"? They are using Blue Gen in homes in Australia. It seems to work just like the Bloom Box. I can't find it on youtube

  • This will work great N a car. I think a 'small' Bloom box N a electric car would get the car 4 times the mileage then the batteries currently used. I hope that the Bloom Box works with solar as well as gases that don't harm the environment. Also It would B great if home owners can by The Bloom Box independent of large energy company's,, just as they can with solar. If they can get the Bloom Box down 2 lets say $2-3000.00 4a Home & maybe $500.00 4a car,, it would help the us all. Super Cool Stuff

  • @Majorjoy6565 So you're saying that solar is the only thing that's not going to hurt the planet? It's hurts the planet to make solar panels, and they're not bio-disposable either... But, that being said, I think it would be a neat thing to have in a car, but I think there might be some size and weight issues that would need to be addressed...

  • @QuantumCarl I under what ur saying about solar panels, But their parts can be recycled & used 2 make more solar panels as the technology grows,, Or the parts can be used 4 other things. I agree with u, Yes the Bloom Box would be great 4 cars if they can find away 2 keep the amazing bloom box power out put & get the weight of the box down 2a reasonable size 4a car. I'm sure they can do anything they put their minds 2 over there @ Bloom, Tesla, Fisker or any car company

  • @Activation1111 Yes and No, you've gotta remember the revolutionary thing here is that it's cheap to make the "paste" they put on the metal, which is what makes this an interesting design. If you cut down on size you have to either find a denser paste or a different formula. This is effectively a chemical energy exchange unit, so size denotes total exchange amount, so the smaller, the less size. :(

  • @QuantumCarl And by size I mean effective chemical energy transfer.

  • @Majorjoy6565 Also, how would solar power help a fuel cell? Solar panels convert it to electricity already. They're essentially the same device with different fuel requirements and input/output efficiencies...

  • Competition is always happening. It is just that this inventor produced a product that gives results.

  • competition is good........ ahahahschool propaganda coming...........

Competition makes me better is the notion that only when one is trheatned will he produce his best work...... what a laugh

  • @manelmariarodrigues Way to think things through. How about if a person/company has NO competition, they have absolutely no reason to improve products or lower prices. Competition is GOOD.

  • @ChristopherJacques So think of one thing you like doing are good at. If you were alone on this planet you would never to it because there is no competition so what is the point of doing it right !? you might want to check NIcola Tesla0's work and understand how we could already have free energy. Also, have you ever read anything about planned obsolescence !? You really need to read NO LOGO. competition would be nice, if there were no winners and loosers. That's not the way we are....

  • @manelmariarodrigues Yeah, I'm well aware of Tesla's work and also aware of how people like you pretend he's some great person ONLY because he was not the one hailed as the great American inventor. Tesla made machines that shot giant bolts of electricity through the air, hardly practical. Edison won the game because he did it right.

  • @Christopher

Whaaat ?? You don´t know about the Edison vs Tesla Fight. Tesla idea and devices won over Edison´s."The war of the currents" AC of Tesla versus the DC of Edison, and Tesla won. But, he was robbed by Westinghouse the capitalist, who profited out of Tesla´s toil and genius. Tesla died poor as a hobbo. It was one of those stories where the American Way turned into a vampire and sucked the blood from the immigrant. It seems that this guy from India will not suffer similar fate.

  • @powerdriller10 What are you talking about? When did I say I didn't know about Tesla?

  • @ChristopherJacques The difference between proof of concept and applied science is historical merit and funding. If you want to be successful, make something useful.

  • @ChristopherJacques You are essentially playing monopoly, it's a competition based game where one player takes all the end. It's sad you support this game, because you are not the winner of the game and still you defend the game to your death. You are trapped in thinking inside the box you were born and still operate in. Ever heard the saying, Think outside of the Box !? you desperately need to think outisde th ebox dude.

  • @manelmariarodrigues You really think life is as simple as a board game? Guess what, there is not a SINGLE "winner takes all" in life. MANY businesses thrive because of competition. I support COMPETITION of BUSINESS, not a game, because it drives people to do better when they could just as easily rest on their laurels. I DO think outside the box, just because I end up with the same opinion as others who DON'T does not mean I don't. You are thinking inside the "different like everyone else" box

  • @ChristopherJacques never said it's as simple as the game.... don't twist words to serve your failed argument

  • @manelmariarodrigues You're pretty much grasping at straws, aren't you...

  • @manelmariarodrigues That doesn't make any sense, man... Companies rise and fall all the time. There is no monopoly on anything...

  • @manelmariarodrigues Competition IS good! You know why you're here today? Because of genetic competition over long periods of time!

  • Bloom County, powered by Bill The Cat.

  • does this mean arab oil producing companies will go out of business?

  • Smart guy. I like you Indian man. I like you.

  • Good interview. Love how we got to get up and close - literally - with KR.

  • wow he is an Indian ! he made his country proud !

  • @akifghori yes USA is proud ; ) that's nice of you akifghori

  • @akifghori whats so special about him being indian indians do great work everyday

  • A Bloom Box in every business and in every home, powered by Bloom.

  • Finally a gifted mind found the way to help reducing the use of fosil energy and also reduce the pollution and the cost...

  • i don't mind guys like him making a fortune off an idea like this, we need more like him. This idea would definitely reduce business overheads especially with large companies, and make way for extra employment. Good on you.

  • @krazymindreader Too bad though these power companies, kill the competition and buy the patents then do nothing with them, because that would mean reduced profits for the greedy.

  • ha his an alien! thats why he made this magic box no one had thought about!

  • hes a genius... I cant wait to buy my own =D

  • I like this idea of having a Bloom energy box in every home in America. Let us finally do away with the grid system from technology develope in the 1900s. I would love for my children to not know what a power outage is. Plus we need to shut down all the energy retailers for they represent a form of slavery that has to be abolished.

  • Jerryaltman, to answer your question, (Chemistry/Physics Teacher here), If you have a solar panel handy, you could easily run this machine in reverse using the electricity from the solar panel in order to store gaseous fuel up when the sun shines - In order to use it when the sun doesn't shine.

  • How this unit use solar power, if solar panels already transform sun light into electricity ? They sai if can use natural gas, biogas, and solar power.

  • I want it now! All goverments should be backing and financing the cost of this so it can be made cheaply alot quicker.

  • I am amazed with the bloombox and also with the camera being used on this interview. What kind of camera is it?
