The random black screens are caused by fraps if your using it. When you stick it in a video editor stretch the vid out and you'll notice that the audio is sometimes longer or shorter than the actual video part. So when you put them together the audio will match but the video won't.

I have been watching videos of this game. At a higher level is there ever a point where all the players on both sides could actually meet other than pvp. It doesnt seem like there are alot of other player encounters like most MMOs that have two opposing factions.

I loved this game, I love how players are wanting to do things together in game. I kind of disagree with you about the Companions. With no dungeon finder and all the group quest, you're going to be making alot of friends. I don't mind saying "LFG BLACK TALON" because once were in there me and these strangers and having a blast and feel like friends. While dungeon finder is "hi lets get this done" cause you won't see them again.

a vord of advice: in future playthroughs, do non-story quests as well, so you can get more exp and reach lvl 10 in starting planet

this isn't like WoW where you can kill a group of mobs that are 2 lvls above you with ease

here if a group of mobs that are 2 lvls above you attack you and you don't have a companion, you're as good as dead

The whole point of the game was give fan a good amazing Singleplayer experience with the possibility of playing with other people IF you want. plus the group play also gives more XP and better gear than if you play singleplayer and that is what Bioware hope will be the incentive to invite other people in group.

Me though, I love singleplayer games, so I for one am glad you can play from lvl1 to lvl 50 alone..

Companions help but real players are stronger and most are better to have on your team, plus if you only have 1 or 2 friends to play a flashpoint with then the extra slots will be filled with you party's companions.

Eliminating the trouble that I have had in other MMO's where everyone has done the group stuff already and don't feel like running it again. This might also work for the Operations.

But companions are a useful and welcome resource in SWTOR that doesn't detract from group play.

Great series, btw there is a loot option that lets you pick up iteams from all the mobs close by you so don't have to individual loot each mob.

By the way Hengest, at around 5:30 you talk about Companions replacing players, but that's really now how it works. In a party, you have a maximum of 4 players (The ideal is to have 1 of each class etc), and companions can only be summoned if there is one or several spots left in the group.

In solo play they are really useful, but will never wipe out the need of playing with others. Simply because quests become harder and harder the more you progress.
