Where to begin with this song? Fantastic four part harmony, each part blended beautifully with the next. Dynamically, they are virtually flawless and finally, you can tell they put their heart and soul into every note. They express themselves through their music, making it very enjoyable to listen to. Marvelous.
While Cory is a great singer and is very versatile, his range is within the normal range of the barbershop bass. He probably doesn't feel very comfortable holding a C4, even though he can do it. His tone for the higher (relatively speaking) notes is rather dark, suggesting that he is a tried-and-true bass.
Check out the OC Times rendition of "Teddy Bear" posted by srobari30. That features Cory on solo, hitting notes high and low :).
Sean Devine came to the MAD District Convention and MC'd the quartet quarter-finals... I got the chance to talk with him for a while earlier today, actually. Nice guy.
the bass on 1:47 is epic "looooove is a game, love is a game"

@joejenkins99
I think it's because the video was filmed in 16:9 ratio (HD) and now it's on Youtube in 360p, which has a ratio of 4:3
16:9 is larger than 4:3, so the video gets squashed =P
I could be wrong though

@MTGlipp Oh. It doesn't do them justice. These guys are the reason I'm in Barbershop, and look what they get for it. Haha (:

@joejenkins99
Well there's a reason why they won, right? =P
And also...I've just noticed..I think the squashed video might be the key to seeing Sean's eyes =O
They're open at some points in this video! =D

With this song and Save The Last Dance/Sway in their set, how could these guys NOT have won that year?
