  • Thanks a lot for this, needed this:)

  • i have a problem, i did that but wtf... when i want to add a text or something it add it to the layers, and i dont know whant it, i add a text and it says: the object you have created have been added to a layer that is not visible or is locked... and i dont want to add it to a layer can u please help me!?!?!?!?!? thx

  • @MSKill3r sorry this reply is late but I just saw your question. When you try to edit a layer that has been hidden, Xara will give that error. To solve the problem, make sure you are selecting the appropriate layer prior to editing. To do this, you have to have layers open to your right and then specifically click on a layer you want to edit. If not, Xara will assume a random/last layer, which may not be the layer you want. Hope that helps.

  • Can anyone answer my query.

i have completed all the steps as shown in this video but i am unable to find the mouse over and the mouse off button in the layer category.

    Please help .

    Thanks in advance.

  • @muhammedyousuff I have the same problem.

I don't know if you solved it, but I solved it this way.

I opened one of the 'in house' designs, and then I deleted what I didn't want.

So in the layer list i ended up with mouseoff and mouseover.

It should have been better explained, how we can get those functions in the layer list. I'm sure it's explained somewhere :/

  • @muhammedyousuff and @BelieveGod (sorry, I had to re-edit your username for obvious reasons...): Anyways, what you both need to do is "rename" the layers by selecting any new layer/properties and specifically rename as "mouseoff" and "mouseover". Also there's "mousedown" for more advance users/use, which goes above the mouseover and is used if you want a new color/function when the mouse is clicked prior to a change; mousedown is commonly used with navigation bars. I hope that helped....;-)
