@katmancon heh, there have been FIVE climate changes in the last 80,000 years (NOVA - Extreme Cave Diving), the most extreme was around 11-15 thousand years ago (Stalagmite records)...such CO1 and CO2 must have done that.

Russia has been surprisingly quiet though I gotta tell you, and almost everything went wrong for them.
Here are a few.
1) previous athletes used drugs, so current ones get repeatidly tested, interupting practice times
2) Plushenko
3) Medal count far short of expectation
4) Russian bobsled flip
4) Canada facing Russia early in hockey
5) Ice dancing Canada-US gold-silver finish led by a Russian coach.
6) Beating top 2 curling teams (11-1 vs sweden) but no medal.
