EVERYONE! easyest way to do it, is make a tube corner, then be a little flying thing, go inside the tube, and drag the tube while ur in it, and it will protect you. thumbs up so people can see!

theres a way to turn off the guardians, all you got to do is throw a lot of trip mines in a pile. and by a lot i mean more than 30. after that, walk into the pile of trip mine (and yes, suicide yourself) so the guardians wont shoot. But you HAVE to have all the people in the game 2 die at the same time.

If the skull dissapears like it did to me put a receiver node right by the skull and a sender node somewhere on the inner feild then save the map. Go back to the map and take the teleporter and quickly grab the skull

Ya kno theres an easier way. go to trip mines while in forge and set the respawn rate to 10 and press x again and set the run time minimum and run time maximum to the same number. throw enuff trip mines till things on the map dissapear. thatll deactivate the guardians now go get the skull

get two players at least. and place a couple land mines set the max and minimm run to the same number and when you throw it another one will pop up instantly. keep throwing them untill things on the map start to dissapear youve overloaded the map. you can now safely walk out and get it

@Codrules500 yeah. but only if you already have halo 3. theres naormally 59 achievements on halo 3. check ur achievement list for halo 3 after getting a mythic map skull and there should be 79 achievements.

my frend knows how to go through without getin shot by the gardiuns he uses trip mines and throws them off a a building and it keeps copming back on its own keep doing that they will all explode when its done (u might die) then go in the feild u wont get shot

theres an easier way, all you do is spawn a trip mine and set the run time minimum to 1 and the run time maximum to 4. Then pick up the trip mine throw it and it will respawn, keep throwing trip mines until they blow up. Then the big guns wont shoot you (this works on snowbound and sandtrap aswell)

So I bought the Mythic Map pack on the Xbox live marketplace for Halo 3 (Came with Assembly, Orbital and Sandbox). Yet when I try to play the Mythic Maps option under social slayer it says I don't have the necessary maps, what gives? I have the Heroic and Legendary Map packs as well so that shouldn't be an issue. Do you have to have the three from ODST as well in order to play the mythic maps on Halo 3?

i found that if you watch the video to see exactly where the skull is it's real easy to build the tunnel to the skull, and you can just overload the map with mines but if you have the odst mythic map disc then overloading the map can cause the skull to disappear, so overload the map build your tunnel and then just start a new session with that map

No. Bungie fixed that bug a long time ago, which is why it's funny people still comment about it. I don't know if it works in the ODST version, but I would assume so, as long as you're in Forge.

I got the skull, along with the rest (thanks for the guide!). It does disappear after you overload the map like you said. I just built a little safe house from a tube Y section and shield doors, put a teleporter inside, and a bubble shield. Then saved the map and went back into it and the skull came back.

Overloading the map was fixed a while ago with a patch. Hence why we have the map to use.
