akakabe at same year was another crazy technic dj !!! the year 1998 was simply the best for the DMC contest : crazy b the best french dj with dj pone (future Birdy nam nam band...), craze, tony vegas, the crazy ozzyman dj dexta, mouss, a trak and don't foret the great old school set of dj static from denmark....... I keep my VHS preciously :) a little bomb very rare now...
@ghindo he started his routine w/ the mixer upside down (probably because they didn't have/allow for hamster switches yet and the technics dmc mixer didn't have a reverse switch) because he skratches reverse..after the first part of his set was done he flipped the mixer over to juggle..did the same in 99 i think
Prime Cuts also had a dope routine, but he fucked up. Actually, Tony Vegas had an even better routine in the '98 UK Final, but only finished third. He came out with all his crazy reverse fader shit, but I think it went over a lot of people's heads.
aussies are getting so much better!!!! nah he didnt have much of a chance to win though.. thers good but it takes more than good to win! but hes probly if not the beest dj in aus!! not sure about atm weve got alot of talent now
