This clock (and actually other voice recognition products too perhaps) would be nicer if the name was configurable... I'd much rather one named "Laura" or something :-)
Hello, gladstone55. I have a quick inquiry. I recently attempted to visit your online museum of clocks, as I hadn't taken a peek since last Spring. However, when I entered the URL into Internet Explorer, I recieved a page cannot be found error, the old style version from Windows XP downward. is the online museum unfortunately shut down, or has the server been offline for a bit? Thanks!
Instead of having a conversation with the clock, just saying what is required will eliminate the "errors". Telling it "Ok, I'll say it again" while it's waiting for the correct information will throw it off. And I don't think it's all that necessary to tell it to "have a good day".
Why are you saying all of those other things before setting the alarm, time and whatnot? It makes the machine look like an idiot, when honestly, I have this clock and it works beautifully. I had two of my fans running today and the clock heard me loud and clear when I was stating commands. I know you're just playing around, but when you're trying to show people how well a product works, it would be helpful if you didn't clown around. Just a suggestion.
it would be nice if you didn't have to say "hello moshi" every time you wanted to command it. maybe just "moshi"? in all that time you could just look at the clock to see the time. only time it would be useful the way it is would be for setting time/alarm/date.
If so, could you make a video of your lifepod orb speaking clock?
I may be ordering the future aids version off their official website, depending on how much it is all together with shipping, and I just want to hear what it sounds like, in case the future aids one may sound different.

hahaha!! I have the clock and you dont cuz i bought it! u guys are all desprate children acting like gimmy gimmy gimmy!!! well, guess what you aint got it cuz i do!!! losers
These clocks suck. I only got mine 20 minutes and I already feel like chucking it up the wall. I tried 20 times to set the time to 6:50 am, it failed every time. Sometimes it was completely off like 10:53 etc. Instructions claim that some words sound similar to others so you must speak clearly but after 20 times I dont think it has anything to do with the clarity of my voice but more to do with voice recognition software being crap. You get 3 alarm sounds all three are hideous. Waste of money.
I just saw this clock in a store and chose to purchase it. It really is cool and it's pretty awesome how you can program it. You even can control colors, sounds to go to sleep with, it has lots of cool stuff on it.
Moshi is a great clock and tool to make your friends look stupid.
I love it when friends come over and they immediately talk to it like a robot, then i show them by talking to it naturally and then they are blown away

nice try, but not good enough. I wouldn't say it's a failed piece of machinery, but it doesn't completely respond as desired yet.

This guy is retarded...
it's listening to everything u say, so when u say all these extra words it gets confused. Idiot...
brushrop03 2 years ago
the error when setting the alarm clock is because hes saying "ok i'll say it again" before he says the time.
not to menchen he talks like Dustin Hoffman from Rainman, that might be why it doesnt understand him

I got mine at Brookstone. If you have one of those near you. The price was pretty reasonble too considering what it does.
