It is. I am just about to upload another dance sculpture the, "Perillion", showing a glimpse of the final stages prior to the casting bronze. Thank you and Regards,
I've seen many scultures over the years. Few have the presence of form to touch the soul. "Amore" does this and, in my opinion, will one day be a piece of historical importance.
Hello Michael, I really admire your work, the detail and form are great. Could you please tell me - where is Part 2 of The Making of Amore? Thanks Eddie
Hi goldeneddie, I do apologise for not replying sooner. Computers. I will be looking at part 2 any time now. The last version went down with the computer.
Thank you for your comments I really do appreciate them. Regards, Michael
Thank you, pcove3 for your very complentary comments. I am a self taught sculptor but I was lucky enough to take on a job at a local foundry after school and learnt the technical side of moulding and Bronze casting. It was while I was there that I discovered I could sculpt and I have just pursued it from there. Regards, Michael
Great work mate! Do you mind telling me who your supplier here in NZ is for the ceramic investment material that you use? I am setting up a sculpture foundry in Thames.
I am self taught but I was lucky enough to have worked at a Bronze Foundry after school and then stayed on and learn't the bronze process and it was there that I discovered my talent to sculpt. My family could not afford to send me to art school so I just had to do it. Just practiced and practiced and became a professional sculptor at 19 and that is what I have been doing ever since. I believe anyone can do anything if one sets their mind to something. Regards, Michael
