  • Yes, symptoms can vary from person to person. Some may feel pain, others do not. Best to go get a diagnosis from your periodontist. Ask your periodontist if you can use this tool and some of the others mentioned in the book: What You Should Know about Gum Disease.

  • Nope...which is the scary part. You could have it and not even know it. Your best indication is if your gums bleed when you brush. Make sure you see your dentist once every 6 months! It's no joke!
