Why? Mostly to get the A ranks and so unlock stuff, like the bonus level you get with all the emblems obtained.

Unless it unlocks something - like an alternative ending - Im not really bothered about speed running. I play games to have fun and be entertained, not to prove myself to anyone. If I want to play a game where I have to push myself, I'll play Ikaruga or something proper difficult.

If you dont like the way I play my games, you dont have to watch my videos now do you.

Another way of racking up extra points on this level is to kill the jets that fly over the ship. Each on is 500 or 1000pts, I cant remember exactly. It's possible to kill three if you're good. :)

However, I've set the language option to Japanese; so he says *That was tight*, as well as other different things (in both English and Japanese).

I found some of the voices in the English language version irritating, so I switched it to Japanese.

Wow, getting A on this level, even the first mission, was SO hard. I kept on getting, like, 300 point short (grumble), and then just kept having a tough time with getting to the top of the rocket at the end. Though, it's not as bad as some of the later A ranks (but the time challenge on this is either insane if you don't know how to do it, or if you do, incredibly easy).

this is wonderful...this is the reason i am a Sonic fan...but i have a question:

Even though Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle were regarded as good games (i can see why in this vid)

Kept adding more characters (dear god... Marine is so annoying...), killed any coolness Shadow had in his own game, gimmicky gameplay mechanics, glitches that make it hard to play, loading times (I don't even have to play the 360 game to know about that...), and just overall making it feel less fun to just blast through... I have fun going through this stage... other games are just... meh.
