  • why are AMDs oldertech demo's more impressive than the new ones :/

  • i just download this so its ok running on 6850

  • nvidia has always been behind ati in releasing the goods, they just copy n paste then pay companies to say "nvidia how its meant to be played"

  • i dont have nothing against AMD but i dont like ati graphics, i hope nvidia make a response to this soon i cant wait for the 300 series video cards

  • If you don't have nothing against them, it means you're completely against em. Apply simple math, negative negative is positive : )

  • @walliot, LOL! Good luck trying to teach simple math to someone who can't even speak english! : )

  • @walliot

So if you say that you have no complaints with someone it really means you don't like anything they do at all? You're wrong. Go back to school and learn some grammar. There are no negatives at all in the sentence "I have nothing against them".

  • @gamewizard Dude, nothing is against someone is positive, not having nothing against someone is negative. Don't insult my grammar.

  • I just wished they used a better example, then friggin Frog Goblins.

  • o.O using hack! lol

  • nice

  • Nvidia has to come up with a completely new architecture for their next gen gpu instead of recycling the 8800 series and adding more transistors then renaming it 9800 and GTX 200.

  • and the sky is blue

  • AMD should have the advantage with DX11, as tessilation is a requirement and they have been using tessilation for a few generations now. Nvidia, on the other hand, has refused to adopt a tessilator.

  • Yet tesselation hasn't really made any significant difference, until now....

  • must kill oompa loompas, must crush capitalism

  • Better quality video, please.

  • land of the ompa-loompas??

  • No Revoluiton Graphic, but funny Music.

  • agree

  • wtf is this even about?

  • HD pleasee we can't see the letters!

  • Interesting demo, but why, why, why does a demo that wants you to pay attention to the graphic details force your attention away from those graphic details by presenting descriptive information as text rather than audio?

  • Bugger, I hit the submit button too quickly. Anyways, it's similar to how you would render textures using advanced filtering techniques such as(bi/tri linear and anisotropic) with the distant objects being rendered less accurately for performances sake as you wouldn't see it anyway.

  • iirc, there are up to 3000 'froblins' at a time doing their thing. :)

  • Damn, there is so much AI being rendered. These have some serious power.

    Impressive.

  • You can hardly see anyhting on this video indeed.

Just red and green blobs and squares.

    The background looks nice!

  • That's just to make a visible differentiation between the three rendering modes.

  • Jezus the most boring demo i have ever seen

  • It's a tech demo. The video doesn't do it justice. It demonstrates the hardware tessellation (smooths round surfaces making arches and the like more realistic) capabilities of the ATi HD 4800 series of graphics cards. Again though, the video doesn't really show the details very well. It is a catchy tune but after playing around with it for a while it gets on your nerves. To repetitive. ;)

  • I hear ya on the music ... I would have preferred someone speaking over the video so we wouldn't have to struggle with the small text.

  • Damn good and very catchy music, where does it come from? :)

  • What the heck is froblins?

  • Probably something like Frodo Goblins

  • Oh i get it they're frog-goblins! The mystery is solved!

  • 5/5 Just wish the quality was better so I could see the words.

  • 5/5.

  • Nice!

  • Nice video 5/5
