well that happened to 1 of the lads 1 and it got sent to apple cause hard drive was fecked but i havent a clue any more im not into much tech anymore

Yeah I just got mine and it did that. I brougt it back to the store and they gave me a new one. Before I plugged it into the computer I checked and the new one made the same noise. I think its normal. I hope its normal.

it is thicker and heavier than the 80GB one, but not to the point where if you actually have 160GB worth of music and videos that you want to take with you everywhere that you should resort yourself to getting the 80GB based on the size alone. i hope that didn't confuse you. basically if you have more than 80GB of music/videos then get the 160GB one...the size isn't that bad at all really. if you have under 80GB of music/videos then get the 80GB one and save your money and pocket space lol.
